“Fun to fish. Lots of good sized pan fish. Water level is very high, probably not gonna change at this point. Boat launch needs work, just shore fished. New pool. New Lake floaties. Fun place to hang out.”

“Good, fenced in area to take your dog for a quick run. Great stopping point just off the highway, made a stop from Chicago to Minneapolis and my dog couldn't be more happy. Decent size, won't be afraid to lose your dog.”
Address: Fitchburg, WI 53593, USA
“Looks like a good boat launch, or maybe fishing spot. Unmarked entrance looks like a driveway, right at the corner of the bend in the road. Cool old house. Pretty small overall.”
Address: 3333 Bradbury Rd, Madison, WI 53719, USA
“Nice playground, but it's definitely for older kids. The sign says ages 5-12, and it's right! My almost 3 yr old could not climb up to either of the slides. This park does have 2 baby swings and two regular swings.”
Address: 925-1375 Linnerud Dr, Sun Prairie, WI 53590, USA
“Fun park. The playset is geared towards the smaller crowd. Lots of climbing systems, but the slides are small. There's clean bathrooms and a nice pavilion. I love the trails around the park.”

“Well cared-for local treasure. They have maintained the river area without it looking maintained and the natural beauty and wildlife is a joy to see.”

“Best "year-round" park in the City. Splash pad, accessible playground, hiking, and disc-golf in the summer. Sledding, ice-skating, XC-skiing, snow-shoeing in the winter. The north and north-west end of the park behind the softball and soccer fields are great for a quick hike or to catch a sunset.”
Address: 555 North St, Sun Prairie, WI 53590, USA
“The splash pad is big, the layout is awesome! There's big rocks around to sit on and watch your kids play. The middle of the splash pad has a ladybug bucket that splashes water all over. The park is also really nice!”
Address: 1583 County Hwy N, Stoughton, WI 53589, USA
“Nice small but sprawling park. Trails kind of go in every direction, but there is one nice loop straight from the parking lot toward the water! Fairly short path is great for sunsets or strolls with the dog (dog park on site as well). Some fishing to be done in the area and some a decent variety of fungi while walking the trail as well!”

“BIRDING HERE IS KIND OF TRAUMATIC BECAUSE THE TRAFFIC IS NUTS BUT THE BIRDS ARE GREAT. BEST SPOT IN DANE COUNTY TO SEE COMMON GALLINULES!!!”

“Big open park, kinda perched up on a hill. Nice playground area and tons of grass to run around in!”
Address: 5201 Milward Dr, Madison, WI 53711, USA
“There is a new playground with swings, slides, and great monkey bars. Large flat grass area- enough for multiple soccer fields and edged along the backside with trees and a pond. Cross country skiing in the winter and if you catch the pond frozen before snow it’s a great place to ice skate!”
Address: 161 Paoli St, Verona, WI 53593, USA
“Reasonable prices and a wide variety of plants. All of the plants looked very healthy. Karen's garden was gorgeous and you could see what each plant would look like when they got bigger and more established. Karen was very knowledgeable and made some good recommendations. I only wish I visited sooner in the season!!”

“We were looking for a quiet fishing spot. This was a fairly quiet place. Nice clean spot with facilities. We spent about an hour fishing from the bank, but got hung up at least 5 times. Neither of us were familiar with the area, so I'm not sure if that's normal here or not. I'd love to come back with a row boat! We saw quiet a few bass jumping, and saw a tiny perch and blue gill. (Where there's tiny ones, there's sure to be bigger ones)”

“I am obviously biased as this park is in my backyard, but the new park shelter and playground are amazing. It is such a joy to have this in our neighborhood. We also helped get the Community Garden going this year, which was an incredible addition to an already amazing park.”
Address: 771 Silver Ln, Edgerton, WI 53534, USA
“Beautiful! I recently went here and I couldn’t get over the gardens and hiking trails! A must-see if you’re in the Madison area. They have a cool little sandbox area for kids to play too (with toys and a tiny book library). The gardens were beautiful. Lots of flowers and plants for pollinators too which I loved seeing. The trail I went on was beautiful. There was a walk in the woods on an hill overlooking the water as well as a walk through some prairie. Highly recommend!”

“Great park for all ages. Something for everyone.”
Address: 6021 Old Sauk Rd, Madison, WI 53705, USA
“The walking trails were well marked. This was my first hike, so a bit uncertain about terrain and distance of each trail. Encountered a few other hikers while at the conservation park, but generally very private and secluded. Loads of wild flowers, wildlife and tranquility to enjoy nestled in the neighbors of Madison, WI.”
