“I love it here. Beautiful area and i have a great view of lake. Very quiet the neighbors all keep 2 themselves. Vwe got our own personal electric and water and sewer hookups. We pay electric bill. My first month here was end of march. I have propain heat. An Rodger hands me a $98. Electric bill. Nope noway cud that bill.”

“If you are looking for a family friendly campground, I highly recommend Skonewood. I like it that the playground with wide open grass area for sports are available right on sight so it's easy to keep your eyes on the kids. Each stall came with running water and electricity which is a HUGE plus!! The swimming area was great for kids. The float mat was their favorite!! Lots of sunnies if you're looking to fish but not much more than a bunch of sunnies. Once in a while you'll see a few bass come by but that's about it. This was our second time here and would definitely come back again in the future.”

“My wife and I took our first trip away from home since our son was born - We were so lucky to find this place. The bed was comfy, the room was cozy, and the breakfast was delicious. It was also our first B&B experience and we were very happy with our choice. Richard and Charlene are very hospitable and you feel very welcomed in their home. We will definitely visit again.”

“The Inn got new ownership in March 2021 and it is fantastic. The owners are very friendly and pay special attention to all the little details for their guests. The hotel is clean and beautiful. The beds all have new mattresses and are very comfortable. The view is to die for. The breakfast room looks out over the River and it is lovely! There are lots of places to lounge in the hotel, and the house is old and luxurious. Beautifully constructed and has been well maintained by the new owners. I took my mom here for Valentine’s Day and they put a fresh rose in our room as well as fresh bouquets in the breakfast room. Chocolate covered strawberries were served at breakfast and we had a lovey chat with the owner about the history of the building (my mom and I are both enamored with century homes). All in all, I would say this was one of most luxurious and relaxing hotels I have ever stayed at and my mom thought the same. The price is great for this experience. I almost don’t want to post this review so as to keep this my secret get away from the cities, but the owner was so nice and dedicated to the hotel, I just had to share!”

“I come here with my boyfriend to get a quickie🤫😉. An extended stay this is not. However it's clean, comfy and not such a seedy feel on the outside. My boyfriend and I believe there's an undercover security officer sitting out at night in the parking lot-- if that would help you feel more comfortable and safe. 5hrs= $62.”
