“Back on August 18th I hit a deer with our Alfa Romeo. My grandson & I were fine, luckily it was not a full grown deer. Still quite a bit of damage. “The trails are a perfect mix of well defined and wild. In many parts they are only wide enough for single file with the foliage creeping onto the trail. The hike to Rainbow Lake was nice and relaxing and the Esker trail gives a nice view of the lower portions of the conservancy. It can get a bit buggy with all the water around, so be sure to use plenty of mosquito spray. Will definitely be coming back to explore more of the trails.”

“Although the posted hours on the building are different, they are open 24/7 so everyone knows! This is one of the best laundromats around town. They have change machines which are newer, vending machines with cans of soda that are a little overpriced at $1.00 for just a can. They also have snack machines with small bags of chips for about a dollar a piece also and candy bars for around $1.25. I should mention they do have vending machines for laundry detergent and dryer sheets & fabric softener. Also i noticed recently they have laundry bags for $2.00! All of the washing machines and dryers are very modern and work great! Overall, the establishment is very nice and well kept! They do have a nice well kept restroom also for customers! Highly recommend!”

“The parish community is like family. This is a very active parish and meets the needs of the very young, elderly and those in between. There are twice monthly presentations on a wide variety of topics related to Catholics, their family and their faith from September through May. Great youth religious education program and very active youth group. Adoration is held every Wednesday from 9-6pm with Benedictions and Mass at 6pm. First Saturday Masses are held May through Oct. “What a lovely place to visit. Church services are offered at two different levels. There is a preliminary deck for some beautiful views for miles around. There's also a tower consisting of approximately 170 steps that can be climbed to get expanded views for many many miles around. If you opt for the tower, please be mindful of those coming up and down the stairs because it is extremely narrow and cannot accommodate multiple people walking up and down at the same time in portions of the staircase. Bring your patience and enjoy the gorgeous view from the top. Fall colors are breathtaking, so it's a great time to visit. Be prepared for steep climbs; however, for those who are physically limited, there are also elevators available to get up to the viewing deck as well as either first or second level for mass services. I would recommend visiting both levels. There is also a large gift shop with a variety of wonderful options to select for everyday, and holiday gift-giving as well as special occasions such as christenings, weddings, Etc. You will also find a small Cafe, But be sure to check for hours because it's not always available. There are also food vendors on the property as well as ample parking, though be prepared to park at the large lot which then requires a walk up a relatively steep driveway to reach the basilica. For visitors with physical limitations, it's best to pull up to the upper landing right in front of the entrance to the gift shop. The entry where the gift shop is located has restrooms to the left and slightly down the hall to the right you will find elevators. If you plan a visit for Sunday services, please just remember it will be quite busy. This beautiful Basilica/property is so worth the trip!”

“Everything about Syl's is top notch. I was referred to them by our pastor where they did the carpet cleaning at our church in West Bend. I had them do some miscellaneous carpet cleaning in our home and a few furniture locations. Apparently they are one of the few companies in the area that does steam cleaning. The crew that came to my house was courteous, professional and very accommodating. They even "raked" the carpet to get the foot prints off when they were done:) Everything looks great; all spots removed and the carpet looks like new. I will definitely use them again as needed.”

Then for the Pork Schitznel One of the best I've had in all my travels and the spatzel was authentic AF Wife had the chicken Parm which she said was very good but a plain sauce. Server was amazing I'm a server of 20 years and then place is doing everything right. Get the schnitzel Ambiance is great too”
