“My husband and I were on our way home to Illinois from northern Wisconsin when the alternator on our car went out. We made it to a gas station before it died completely. This was 7:30 pm and we couldn't get a tow truck until early the next morning. This hotel was right next door. When we explained our situation to Elizabeth the manager, they were very nice and took very good care of us and made us very comfortable. It made a uncomfortable situation much more bearable. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!”

“Our family of five recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sunrise Farm of Wisconsin, and it was an experience we will cherish forever. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in the warmth and hospitality that the farm exudes. The farm, nestled in the heart of New Richmond, is a haven of tranquility and natural beauty. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the goat walk. It was a unique and delightful experience that our children absolutely loved. The goats were playful, friendly, and incredibly well cared for, reflecting the love and dedication that the hosts, Doreen and Jeff, put into their farm. Speaking of Doreen and Jeff, they were the epitome of excellent hosts. They were welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their passion for their farm and their animals was evident and infectious. We learned so much about farm life during our stay, thanks to their willingness to share their knowledge and experiences. The farm itself was well-maintained and offered a variety of engaging activities. We also had the opportunity to observe other animals on the farm, which added to the authenticity of our farm stay experience. The pigs, in particular, were quite a spectacle and had a lot to say! In conclusion, our stay at Sunrise Farm of Wisconsin was nothing short of amazing. It was a perfect blend of relaxation, learning, and fun-filled activities. We left with beautiful memories and a newfound appreciation for farm life. We highly recommend Sunrise Farm for anyone looking for a unique and enriching getaway. We can't wait to return!”

“▪︎Updated▪︎ We only stayed one night in April but said I would definitely be back! I DID!! 4/25 Our room was so much better than expected. Larger and beautifully decorated. It was very clean too. They were so attentive and communicated well. 7/1 Harper's Haven Room. Such a great room. Very spacious and had that at home feeling. Like you were in your own bedroom. Bed was very comfortable. Plenty of areas to store your belongings. An excellent room for yourself or with a companion! Again, the host/owner is incredible. So friendly, attentive and great communication!! This is my go to place when I've start in Brodhead now!!”

“We had a wonderful stay. Hosts Suzanne and John are both very welcoming. The room was sparkling clean and conveniently located, and there's a full kitchen. The bed was comfy as well. I took the train to Columbus and it is only a block and a half from the train station. You do have to go up some stairs, but if that isn't an issue for you, this makes a great spot for a weekend getaway. We did a lot of walking, and enjoyed seeing the many unique older homes in town. We also visited the antique mall, and had coffee and some baked goodies at Julie's.”

“Google says that this park is permanently closed. The truth is, it was never closed and is open as it has always been. My original review was about the accuracy of googles info. Not for the park itself. But I've updated the review to reflect the park. Yards are larger than any other park in the area. Things are pretty Quiet around here after 9 pm. Two major plusses for an old retiree!”

“Been twice and had soo much fun!!! The atmosphere was fun, the scenery was beautiful, the owner was really nice, personable and helpful. Our family had a blast each time. There's plenty of amenities that are covered while camping which is helpful. People need to remember you are there to CAMP, not stay at a luxurious hotel. We will DEFINITELY be coming back as long as this place is here!”

“We stayed at the 100 campground in the middle of the week early May. Good news first- very large campsites with plenty of trees and shrubs for added privacy. I’m sure when all the leaves are in you won’t see your neighbors. The walking paths a wide and mostly shaded with beautiful scenery. I highly recommend the blue trail from the 300 campground to the falls. The falls are much more impressive than I anticipated and worth the walk. The park is pet friendly, and our dogs enjoyed the ~1.5 mi walk to the falls too! The Facts- It’s a little pricey to camp, your required to have a WI state park sticker ($38) plus camping fee of $33 a night for just electricity (20/30/50 amps)! If you want to just visit the park for the day it’s $10 in state, and $13 for out of state. Summary- We enjoyed our stay, but the price seems a bit high which is why only 4 stars. I recommend staying, just know what it will cost.”

“First time going to a private campsite. Still would prefer state campsites, but still very hospitable, campsites were humongous and they had things for sale at the front office which saved going to the nearest store a few times.”

“Such a welcoming B & B. Diane was a wonderful proprietor, the accomodations were very comfortable. Everywhere you looked there was an interesting piece of furniture (bookcase made from a wooden ladder) or decoration (a shelf border of old hats). The grounds go on for acres with mowed trails through the wild flowers and prairie grass with strategically placed benches and yard art, horse shoe pit and library, all for your wandering please. The cherry on top is that it's dog friendly.”

“Great campground to enjoy with kids, family, friends. Have loads of facilities, electric, water, pool for kids/adults, food, tent and RV sites, boat rentals, saw people fishing as well. Friendly staff and nice reservation systems. I am giving 4.5/5 because it is very crowded indeed. The campsites are literally overlapping. No distinction between RV vs tent ones. Directions can be better although they do send someone to check after you as soon as you check in their office. Restrooms are tried to be kept clean and mostly the problem is (as usual) typical people not following restroom manners - a suggestion will be to using Odonil or similar restroom fresheners. Recommended for fun weekend/few days. It does get crowded and busy. Store /office sells firewood, lighter fluid, milk, food and their ice cream shop at the pool is pretty cool too - at reasonable prices.”

“We went here for dinner on a Friday night. It was about 80% full and a band was performing. Great food. We had Spotted Cow beer. I had a cheese burger and fries. The Owner spent time with us, which was great. He has events scheduled out until July. They are expanding the back outside area.”

“Weekly rates that are very reasonable. The managers are extremely friendly. The rooms are adequate, with own bathroom, TV, microwave, and refrigerator. The furniture is nice also. The only negative is that you need to supply your own drinking water.”

“I can’t rave enough about this place! We’ve been twice and it’s truly amazing! Dan and Ashley are the best hosts you could find and the farm is beautiful! “Farmer Dan” has sparked a love of horses for my kids and helped me get over my 25 year fear of horses after a bad experience. You won’t be sorry with a stay here, it’s an experience you won’t forget!”

“The house was absolutely perfect for our group of six. We rented both the downstairs and upstairs and had plenty of space to relax. Our group was in town for a Wisconsin football game and the Victorian was a short 25 minute drive to Madison. The house sits right in the middle of downtown Cambridge making for an easy walk to the local restaurants and stores. Carol was a delight to work with and provided lots of great recommendations for our visit. The house had everything we needed -comfortable beds, cozy furniture, plenty of towels, and beautifully remodeled kitchens and bathrooms.”
