“Had lunch today, Tuesday March 7th 2023. It was good, I had the blackened shrimp burger and sweet potato fries 🍟. It was filling but not enough shrimp like I am used to. Els Diner in Morehead NC rocks, they stack the shrimp 🦐 on the bun. Met some new friends. We enjoyed watching the planes coming in, fueling ⛽ and taking off. They have complimentary popcorn, coffee, water, breath mints, and cookies. The place is immaculate, can't say enough about the cleanliness of the entire area including the bathroom. Pilots eat for a dollar when fueling ⛽. Hotel Alpha Victor Echo Alpha November Indio Charlie Echo Delta Alpha Yankee MotherTrucker was in the 🏠”

“Loved the easiness of this airport! Only two gates and a very quick security line. Allegiant is the only airline that currently flies from this airport. There is plenty of seating for social distancing and not much crowding. Allegiant gate agent was also very friendly and allowed me a free change from middle seat to an extra legroom window seat!”

“Small town airport with family feel. This is the host airport of Wings Flight Club. Also, there it is headquarters to Wings Flight Training and Wings Maintenance. The staff is accommodating, friendly, and very welcoming to locals and folks just stopping by. Last June 2022, I flew in for the Great American Brass Band festival and the fellas at the FBO gave me a ride to Center College so I could enjoy the music. Super good group of guys there.”
