“Cute farm, lovely drive & yummy treats. The roast beef w horseradish sauce was very tasty. The grilled cheese was awesome. We had vanilla, chocolate brownie, banana pudding & cookies in crème which was chocolate base. Was sad there was no brownie bits in the brownie one- just a brownie batter imitator. Enjoyed the fun. Clean bathrooms. Playground 🛝 was accessible for my 6 year old. We couldn’t stay long for timing issues but we tried to prior day get on their schedule for a farm tour but they sold out. Plan ahead your route to DJ more activities. Also, if they do tours and let out, it gets crowded & busy and might take a while to order. You order sandwiches at check out at the counter where ice cream is served as well.”

“Nectarine Grove is a favorite. Almost everything, if not everything, on the menu, is gluten free. They have a wide variety of food options and everything I’ve ordered here tastes delicious! One of the few restaurants around that also does not cook with seed oils! Chicken and Waffles (The chicken is plantain crusted!) , Breakfast Tacos, Chimichurri Steak Bowl, & the Pizzas are a handful of personal favorites. They have a cooler full of rotating desserts that are all really tasty as well. The staff is friendly and attentive. Many of them have actually become friends over the years. They also stock a large selection and variety of drinks. From coffees, to beer and kombuchas, and specialty drink choices. Though I usually stick with the free water. Stoked to have Nectarine Grove in San Diego. We need more restaurants that cook with real butter, coconut oil, and quality whole food ingredients. It’s fairly easy to spend $20-$30 here per person, but I always leave feeling like it was well worth it, & satisfied!”

You could also taste that everything is made to order and very fresh. My favorite item was the fried pork. It was tossed with fresh cilantro, dried chilies, and diced garlic. It was unexpectedly spicy but I could not stop eating it. I highly recommend Masterpiece for a great food experience.”

“We stopped here after a walk at Palmer Park. There were a lot of bakery choices but they were all basic the same. Nuts or berries, or both. I went with shortbread with mixed berry jam. Which, turned out to have nuts. 😐 It was harder than I expected for shortbread and filled with nuts, but the berry jam was tasty. It was edible and cheaper than some coffee shop pastries, but I wouldn't buy it again. I'm not really sure what my companions got but other than the biscotti, which was also very hard, everyone seemed to enjoy their drinks.”
