Nanette was extremely helpful with us in determining the best care for the passing of our mother. She helped us pick out a beautiful urn, gave us advice on how to carry her on the plane, and what to do when we get to Mom's final resting place. Doug went over the top! When Mom died she did not look her best. Nanette's advised us to have Doug prepare Mom for a private viewing for the three of us. This was a tremendous help of closure for us. The sanctuary and seating areas were styled and cleaned as if it was ready for a magazine photo shoot. Programs were lovely — printed on card stock for preserving as a memorial keepsake. My mom looked her best, as if she was sleeping at rest. Family, unable to come in person, watched a professionally recorded Live Stream. Katrina Smith, the funeral director was AWESOME! She listened, advised professionally all aspects of their services as it benefited me and my family. She was for me a Godsend because I knew nothing. Linda, their assistant and grief counselor followed up with me the next week assuring me I am in stages of grief and not loosing it; and, of what lies ahead in my journey without my mom. “We are so very grateful for Peaceful Pastures. Our two Bichons are laid to rest in this beautiful cemetery. Each time we were there to say our final goodbyes to our babies, the staff was patient, understanding, gentle and kind. When our oldest Bichon was ailing, we discovered Peaceful Pastures and bought two plots together which helped ease the process once the time came for Jasper to cross the rainbow bridge. Our hearts were raw and the staff at Peaceful Pastures was there to help make the process a little less painful. A few weeks ago our little Phoebe-girl passed over the rainbow bridge to meet up with her brother. We miss them both terribly! However, it's comforting to know that our fur-babies are laid to rest next to each other in such a beautiful cemetery. It truly is peaceful.
