The arrangements included transport of my dad from Ipswich to our home town in central New York for a graveside service. At the graveside my mother’s ashes were to be inserted into the casket. “I just feel I need to share my experience with Cassidy at Covell Funeral Home. When my husband passed away recently I was numb, everything seemed like it was impossible. I could barely function. Simply put the grief was overwhelming. I went to him because a nurse friend I worked with years ago told me how wonderful he was. Still, When I walked in for my appointment I felt like I couldn't go thru this. First thing out of my mouth was... " this can't take long, I can't do this" I'm sure my comment didn't come out sounding very polite. He was so kind & empathetic & helpful. He even took the time to listen to me painfully babble ... I will always remember how kind he was to me. & because of that I started my healing journey on the right track. .
