“First, this was our first trip outside of the "chain" furniture stores. Herron's is the store we always hoped existed. They do not sell chain store, mass produced furniture, in fact, every piece is Amish, made by hand craftsmanship. You choose the wood and the stain color. Your purchase truly is, a family heirloom. Second, Jeri. The ultimate in a sales representative. She greeted us at the door, and quickly established our interest. Jeri sat down with us and got to know more about our tastes, the way we wanted a dining table that would blend in with our existing pieces, the type of wood we liked and the color. She made us feel like we made a purchase, not that we were being sold furniture. Jeri was very upfront, explaining the time involved with having a custom, hand made dining room set produced, because of labor shortages, material availability, and an ongoing pandemic. Our order took six months, during which Jeri called twice to update us on it's timeline. When our dining set was delivered, it was beyond our expectations. The natural imperfections of real wood add to the character of one of a kind furniture. As another reviewer stated, the delivery team removed their shoes when they arrived, and were more than professional. They say you get what you pay for. Purchasing from Herron's, we got our money's worth.”

“Great experience working with the family and crew. I had them do 2 jobs for me. First one was a 16x16 pavilion on the east end of the island. They called when it was ready to be installed. The crew came and completed it in one day. Nothing like seeing a install go so smoothly. Great job. 2nd job was a shed in my yard. Again the crew came when scheduled and went together nicely. Completed a 14x10 shed in about 3.5 hrs. They also sell other outdoor furniture at their shop. Would highly recommend them.”

Other reviews noted staff assisting customers with coupons, but my cashier didn't. She was polite & careful with my purchases, which were mainly good-priced markdowns when we first entered the store. I saw one female staff assisting a couple with their registry when we entered & as mentioned the polite (but not overly friendly or vociferous) woman checking is out... but saw no floor staff whatsoever! Although we very carefully made our way throughout the store, we were never approached by any staff to offer assistance, and despite lengthy research of nursery furniture displayed, no store reps were even really available! Needless to say, we ended up taking photos to research purchasing elsewhere, possibly online. There certainly were options -- but nobody to assist decision-making.”

“We went from queen hardside to king softside waterbed. Love our new bed. I was having right shoulder issues during the Spring/Summer. I always have to roll out on my right side to get out of the hardside bed, which made it harder for my shoulder to heal. We made our 1st trip in July, picked out of bed and put a deposit on it. Well, I told my husband, I really think we need to go back down just make sure this was the right bed. Even thou we are about 2 hours away, I’m glad we made the 2nd trip cause we upgraded our bed. Best decision we ever made. Sometimes the bed is too comfy and you don’t want to get out of bed. I think we are sleeping better with this bed plus I'm not having any more shoulder issues.
