“The Librarians are amazing, the building is cozy, and there are plenty of great services offered here. A lot of the times I have extreme social anxiety when interacting with people who are working and have to service me. I do feel a lot safer asking questions and whatnot here than most places, and I really appreciate it! It definitely helps me feel more at ease.”

“A wonderful, adorable, tiny library! It looks like it doesn't have much material, but WRONG: it's part of a network of 50 libraries in Southeast Michigan, plus the MelCat system with access to material from all the Michigan libraries, which means we can get EVERYTHING we want. And it might look a bit cold to some with its almond green walls, but believe me, it's a very warm library. I wouldn't swap for any other one!”

“Excellent library, plenty of study spaces, variety of cool furniture, rooms, technologies. Great resources and services. Well worth visiting all floors, some designated quiet areas, other’s collaboration areas, plenty of whiteboards, and Starbucks coffee shop.”

“Love the librarian on duty and how she is absolutely sweet. Small and quaint like a small town library should be. Amazingly big shelves of books that range from learning to read to edgar allen poe. Organization is great wouldn't change it. Cleanliness amazing. Book keep room where a lot of donations go is full and all you have to do is donate what you believe the books you want are worth to keep them.”

“Gorgeous botanical gardens with a large variety of tropical plants, ferns, orchids and fuchsia, as well as cactus and succulents. The docents lead very informative tours, well worth doing. Admission is $5 and parking is free in their parking lot, although their parking lot does fill up on weekends by about 11 am, so get there by 10:30 am on weekends to get a spot, otherwise you will be hunting for 2-hour parking spots on the street.”

“The woman that is always at the desk is fabulous, so helpful and pleasant to talk with. I prefer this library over the “bigger” ones because of the staff!”

“The staff in this library are great, and happily answered all of my questions.”
Address: 501 S Venice Blvd, Venice, CA 90291, USA
“This is the first library that insists people be quiet. Me had planned to talk on my phone like so many people do. Rotten luck. They have phone charging station in the lobby next to guard too. Plenty of parking.”

“Friendly and knowledgeable staff, seems up to date. Small rack of free books, but no book sale, which is my interest”

“good education”
Address: 1501 Pleasant Grove Blvd, Roseville, CA 95747, USA
“The best library in my pacer county. My kids have so much fun each time we visit. They have hands on activities such as coloring, building and more. The staff are always very helpful and kind. They have a playground behind the library that is a hidden gem. My kids absolutely love coming here.”
Address: 300 Norman Center Ct, Norman, OK 73072, USA
“This is one of the quieter library in Norman. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is always clean when I'm there. Not hard to get a internet computer. Not as many people visit this library as do the central Norman library. It is a relaxing place. There are at times the noisy adults and children, but not really that much though.”

“The workers were very polite and very helpful. We needed something faxed and wasn't sure where the fax machine was or how there's worked and they showed us and helped us get new library cards. 10/10 rating for me and will be back (:”

“Outstandingly helpful, professional and courteous staff. Unfortunately, there was widely disproven and disreputable political misinformation on prominent display and within reach of children. Would prefer a safe, politically agnostic environment for children but that may be too much to hope for.”

“This is the best little library in the world!!!”

“I LOVE this library! AWESOME staff! GREAT selection, App is perfect for reserving and renewing materials and downloading books. I'm here several times a week to check out books, DVDs and CDs or to sit quietly in the back to read or do paperwork. This Library ROCKS!”

“I have been going to this place almost since they first opened about 40 years ago. Back then we were students with no cellphones or technologies available now. Those books and those helpful staff were all we had to achieve knowledge. When I was getting my masters to become a teacher I used to go there as well. Both of my sons and my daughter went there during high school. This place is a treasure of knowledge and many of us should be thankful for.”

“I had the privilege of experiencing this wonderful college through my sons when they participated in Kids@Carroll/Teen College summer programs! In 2012 our friend, who’s a chemistry teacher, let us know he’d be holding a science/magic summer camp there. My sons began attending that year and didn’t stop until they aged out! CCC was always a highlight of their childhood summers and I am forever grateful. The enrichment and education they received time and time again at such well put together programs with high quality instructors was unmatchable! They enjoyed many of Ken Ecker’s art camps and they still keep in touch with him today! He even makes it a point to wish them each a Happy Birthday every year! He’s such a radically genuine person and an amazing artist! And he still teaches adult and youth programs when he comes down from NYC! He’s simply the best! I always loved how the art camps would culminate with a beautiful art show for parents and friends to attend! I have so many photos on my digital frame from those days and cherish the memories! My sons also enjoyed CCC electrical engineering, geography, Star Wars, and veterinary CSI camps (those involved great field trips to vet hospitals, The Humane Society, and a horse rescue; the students also learned how to suture bananas). :) Thanks, CCC, for all you do to promote education, not just for adults but for youth as well.”
