“This is a pretty good library, there are a lot of resources available for locals. There is a large selection of books, magazines, movies, and just about whatever else you want. The only problem I had was that it has dirty bathrooms and there are sometimes homeless guys sitting right in front of the doors asking for money.”

“I absolutely love this place!! They are huge and clean! Their card catalog is all online now. You can search for any book using the Author, title or subject. It will tell you exactly where to go find it on the shelf. They have computers there you can use, for free, to look this up. They have other computers you can use, for free, to internet surf on. There is no fee on late library books any more. But I am curtious and still renew or bring them back when suggested. I just seen that you can check out ties, workout activities, games to improve health, scooters and crutches, along with books, dvd's, audio books, and video games. They have a large selection of comic books too! I'm so impressed with all the new things we can check out now! What a blessing to our community! I love this place! I will continue to come back!”

“Great library. Much better than the one at my town. I wish there were more nooks and crannies for studying though. The tables here are mostly in the open. I love tables that are somewhat hidden; it's just a fantastical atmosphere. However, this place is well lit, clean, and enjoyable.”

“Noble County Health Dept. Have an excellent vaccine program. Masks, sanitizer, cleaning surfaces and chairs, social distancing and plenty of volunteers. Door 6 lower level so away from library patrons. Regular library services are also excellent.”

“Such a lovely little library. The staff are always so friendly and inviting. Extremely knowledgeable and always more than happy to assist. If there is ever a book that I want and they dont have, they're quick to find it and have it sent to the library. My kids LOVE going to Storytime with Miss Sonora, she's so sweet and patient and amazing with the children! She sings, does simple sign language, brings out different instruments and of course reads books! If you live in or are new to the area do NOT hesitate to utilize this little gem of a library.”

“Amazing place & wonderful people! Just what a library should be. Inviting, welcoming, attractive and spacious. Spaces are clearly defined, lots for children and youth to do. Comfortable areas to just sit and read, fun spaces for kids to play. Computer room, activity room, study areas, combined play areas for boardgames, children computer area, imaginative play and so much more... Summer reading program is the best, hands down! “Yesterday I had visited with my Lil guy and this Library had an awesome idea. They made posters of each page of a kids book and in the front of the library was the first page. The posters were seperate along a path with a green arrow leading the the next page with the last page leading back to the front of the library. I thought this an awesome idea so thought I should share 😊 Even more convenient, there's a Brook ale Shopping Center with a Lucky, CVS, O'Riley car parts and etc.”

The clerks in the book check-out counter are friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my time in this library. I wish Bakersfield had more libraries like this!”
