“last minute i joined a crew for the 9 day scavenger hunt. let me tell you. you have to be dedicated because many times i wanted to throw in the towel. Livinglegends was our team name. The challenges made you familiar with the town of San Jose and its surrounding neighbor cities. Challenges had to be performed such as making videos of local business, taking pictures of business, and riddles. It was basically how well you know the city you live in. it also gets you to be more involved and knowledgeable of local artist and local business owners. In the end, it was fun but i had major anxiety attacks and nights not sleeping. If you can handle the pressure, Game on!”

“I had a Genius Bar appointment at this Apple Store on a busy Saturday in Sept. Overall, despite some waiting around, I found my Genius Bar session to be productive and efficient, and the technicians to be (somewhat) friendly, very knowledgeable and professional. I arrived on time and was directed by a blue shirt employee to wait at a table. While I had to wait 15 min for a technician to become available, once that happened, it was smooth sailing. I explained the issues I was having with my Macbook Pro - a blank screen- to the first technician. He asked me to plug in the laptop to charge it, which I did. After another 5 minutes, a second technician, Chris, came to my assistance. I explained the issue again, and he said that it seemed to be a display issue, and left briefly to retrieve an external monitor. Once he had the external monitor set up, he was able to reboot the computer and run Apple diagnostics, and those tests confirmed that the Macbook's components were largely ok, and that only the display and an internal cable were problematic. Chris succinctly explained my options for the repair-- I could have it shipped to a repair center, where techs would make the necessary repairs/replacements, and ship it back to me, or I could have it repaired at that store or another Apple store. I considered the timeline for both options and decided to have it shipped to the repair center. Once that was decided, I received a work authorization from Apple almost immediately. After 15 min backing up the desktop files to my iCloud (which was on me, since I wasn't in the habit of doing that), Chris handed off my Macbook to another employee for shipping. I received the repaired Macbook just 3 days later and am typing this review on it. All in all, a positive experience, and I'd recommend this Apple store.”

The first floor now sports all of the store's merchandise (various card booster packs, a wide selection of colorful DND dice, board games, and snacks) as well as some tables for casual game playing and a free Mario themed pinball machine. The second floor is where the different card game tournaments take place. The staff were welcoming and friendly as always! Def recommend to those looking for a local MKE card and game shop!”
