Local fruit stands bait shops etc. campsite has exceptional space so you don't feel cramped and pine trees that separate you from the owner's house with plenty of distance between so you hardly even know they're there and they are very friendly when you do see them.”

“Beautiful neighborhood park with easy street side parking and nice sidewalks with beautiful landscaping. The large play structure has a ton of slides and lots of climbing in varying levels of challenge. The main structure is for kids 5-12 - there is a 2-5 structure in the back. There are picnic tables and plenty of bench swings for adults to watch their kids play. This pocket park is beyond what you would expect! There is a QR code to scan on the east side of the play area to give your opinion about the play area. Awesome Warsaw Park!”

Skylandia Park

Address: 30 Manzanita Ave, Tahoe City, CA 96145, USA

“Skylandia is a great park and beach along the north shore of Lake Tahoe. There is a main area with a pier that allows for 2-3 groups deep in the sand, while the portion further west is narrower. There were folks swimming along the entire beach section, paddle boarding, and jumping from the pier. There is parking in the nearby neighborhood streets, and it is roughly ten minutes walking down to the beach. There are stairs, so it is not (easily) handicap accessible. There were several police offers nearby, but this was Saturday of a holiday weekend in July. Great spot!”

Paynes Creek Historic State Park

Address: 888 Lake Branch Rd, Bowling Green, FL 33834, USA

Park Museum

“We had a lovely time today. There are at least 4 miles of well-maintained trails. The visitor center was open and available for a self-guided tour. Both restrooms and water fountains are available. The entry fee is $3 and cash only, and there is plenty of parking. The park ranger provided us with maps, so we had no problem finding the historic fort site. We didn't see much wildlife apart from an armadillo, birds, and squirrels. However, the trails were very quiet and peaceful, and the wildflowers were lovely. I would not recommend these trails for people with wheel chairs or strollers.”

I came to this park before and I really enjoy it. It has a trail around the lake and in one spot there’s a mailbox where people can leave encouraging messages for others. When we arrived there were carriages with horses. I wonder what they were doing there. The lady was very nice and let us pet her horse.”

Powers Lake Park

Address: 10000 Brookview Rd, Woodbury, MN 55129, USA

Park

“This lake being for non-motorized watercraft is a big perk for me. The lake was pretty and still when I went, and the park seemed expansive and in fairly good shape. If you are planning to launch a boat, this is the spot you need to enter into your maps- for now, anyways; edit pending- as entering “Powers Lake” will probably take you a spot in the suburbs around the lake”
