“I have stayed here for five days. First of all, I am very grateful to the staff Leslie. I really love her so much! It was very late on the day we checked in, and it took her only a few minutes to solve the problem. The room was clean and comfortable with no strange smell. Leslie is a very conscientious employee who always keeps the floor clean and keeps an eye on the guests. She is very patient. I booked a room in booking in the last two days and chose to pay at the store. The other two ladies who received us that day always said that they could not inquire about the order. I sent it many times but could not find it, because it was marked to pay at the store, so I could only close the order. Finally, I used my bank card to pay the original room price for two days. We're really upset. In the end, Leslie and another grandfather solved the problem. However, the refund has not been returned to the account. It has been a month. I will go to the bank to check it today.”

They use amazing coffee beans and the menu was created by a local chef with decades of experience. She and her husband can be found there most days and it's only 100 steps to beautiful Vilano Beach.”

Campground is very peaceful and beautiful with green rolling hills, a pond and ducks. Clean bath/showers with HOT water. Will definitely stay here again if ever in the area.”

“I have been selling mobile homes for quite some time and Lakeside Village is one of my favorite communities. The Management team is extremely helpful and very pleasant to work with. I feel good knowing that my clients are well taken care of and treated nicely by the Doreen and her husband Jim. They are both very helpful and accommodating. The park is very well maintained, the clubhouse has recently been remodeled and offers weekly and monthly events for their residents. The pool, spa and patio are clean and offer serene views of the large greenbelt framed by large trees. Its a beautiful park in a great location.”

My kid loved watching boats headed out in the morning. “This was interesting, I think if they offered guided tours it could be way better. Also, you cant climb up to any of the planes. The best part for me was the indoor museum at the end. It's a lot of walking outside so bring comfortable shoes. They do offer scooters for people who need assistance walking long distances. A little pricey in my opinion. I paid $36 for one adult and a teen child.”

“What a wonderful find! This place is very special. The wildlife viewing is terrific, huge jackrabbits, cottontail bunnies and plenty of deer. Muffy's garden is huge and well utilized in her delicious breakfast with squash and herbs in her yummy omelettes, vege goodies in her muffins and even homemade tomato juice. The rooms are clean and well appointed and ample furniture in the lovely inside sitting room complete with TV and wood stove, but better yet, lots of outside seating for wild life viewing around the pond.”

“I think we were one of the first to stay here, I'm glad we found it. Very clean and a great location to travel between the other keys. It's also down the road from Robbie's if you want to feed some massive fish! There's a nice park (Founders) near by with a beach, there's a few stores and nice bars in the area too. Internet was good. The s'mores were a great touch! Would stay here again.”

“We had a great 5 night stay. Quiet neighborhood. We felt like locals, living on the water. Great location: far enough away from noise, but close enough to see the area. Tight corners to pull in, but plenty of space once you're parked. The marina staff were very friendly and informative. They were especially helpful as we prepped for the incoming tropical storm. The free washer and dryer was a pleasant surprise. Clean and convenient bathhouse. *Don't forget to empty your grey/ black water before pulling in. Chassahowitzka River Campground has a dump site for $10.”
