“The library has many historical documents on local areas nor available in other places, and some originals the copies of which are available at the Schiappa Library. However, many of these precious originals are deteriorating and are in desperate need of preservation. It's a great credit to the keepers of the library that those documents are still around.”

“My son loves aviation and he wishes to be a pilot someday now since he’s 15 years of age. I like that place too because of the large structures of planes. My son wishes to be at the museum everyday but I tell him we can’t but I wish to take him sometimes more in his life while he’s still young”

“This is an excellent gallery and one of the best parts of the US Air Force Museum. This gallery contains a space section, which I didn’t have time to see, and a military section with several exciting aircraft, such as an SR-71 Blackbird—the world’s fastest plane—and the world’s only B-2 bomber on display, along with the nuclear missiles that it shoots. This gallery also contains several other fighter jets and a radar that was used to detect incoming nuclear missiles. I gave this gallery five stars because it has several enticing aircraft on display, including the world’s fastest plane and world’s only B-2.”

“Wow, I’m so glad we found this wonderful museum on our trip down to the southern end of ESVA! This museum is really beautifully executed, and well organized. We saw many facets of early eastern shore life that were fascinating as well as unknown to us. We will definitely be back! They have a very cool planter type box out front where the kids can hunt (and find!) for shark teeth - that was a big hit with our little ones.”

“Awesome place. Small but packed full of local area history. Currently February/March 2020 undergoing some renovations and upgrades to displays. I recommend trying out all their planned historical events for the upcoming season, and apple island tours. There even is a small archeological pit for the youngsters to see what cool stuff they can dig up. Lots of fun for everyone who would like to brush up on local area history and find out what life was like before cars, TV's, and cell phones. Get out and explore!”

“Our first experience with the Whitewater Valley Railroad was over the summer and our excursion was ~1.5 hours to Metamora where we got to explore for a few hours before heading back. The views were spectacular (IMO the best out of French Lick and Nickel Plate). The staff are laidback, friendly, and knowledgeable. They are grateful for each passenger and you can tell it’s a labor of love for them. We of course couldn’t wait to come back for the Polar Express ride in December. So much fun for the whole family - we got AMAZING chocolate cookies and hot cocoa, interactions with the chocolate chefs, elves, and the conductor throughout the ride and a special visit with the big man at the end. You can bring your own snacks and little cooler, blankets, etc for a comfortable and family-friendly experience.”

“Absolutely an amazing collection of cars and other items that are preserved in perfect condition. Many are limited productions or special versions. We were there for a recent benefit for local seniors, and it truly was an incredible collection. This hanger sized museum houses 100's of cars and will take several hours to see and read about them. It's well worth a visit when it's open.”

“Living my whole life in Carrollton, I couldn't count the times I went to Butler for family events. Summer fun with paddleboating and mini golf. Holiday events like Easter egg hunts and the all famous haunted train ride, yet I never paid much attention to the house that was located on the grounds. Today I finally did. It blows my mind that this house was built back in 1859 and is still here. The original bricks laid at the same time still to this day guide you up a solid but slightly tilted walkway to the house. The house is intimidating as you get closer. There is something eerie about it. But push past that, and walk to the front of the house. The view from the steps looking over the land is breathtaking, minus the wind debris every where. Around back the house looks the exact same. Off to the left when walking the path behind is a trail that is serene through the woods and ends at the Butler Family Cementery. Now that needs a little love, but there is still beauty around the stone walls. You can get tickets for a tour of the house. I did not do that. I just explored around it. Again the view alone from the steps, is worth stopping by.”

“This museum alone is worth a trip from nyc. Sensory evoking, heart touching and mind stimulating exhibits meticulously arranged in such a beautiful space. SPACE (in many meanings) is the main piece of art thus no picture will deliver how one feels in the space of Magazzino so you must go and experience it yourself. The easiest way to get there is an Uber from Cold Spring, about $10 but wait time is 20 mins on average, plan accordingly.”

“There is so much art everywhere, and so many different pieces to look at! It's very fun! It has a gift shop where you can purchase books about art they have out. All different things to buy there. Copies of art, postcards, books. Bring money for a book at that gift shop. Expensive but worth it, especially if it's not a place you visit more than once or a couple times in your lifetime. Great for a day trip!”

“Excellent, informative tour. I was surprised we were allowed to enter the glass house. There are longer tours so you can see some of the other buildings too. I do not recommend the 3 hr, no-tour entry, unless you are already very well-versed in the history of the grounds and of Phillip Johnson. Our guide Perrie was very knowledgeable and personable. Parking is $4/day in town-there is no free parking anywhere so don't bother trying. You may need to walk 4+blocks to get to the offices/retail shop for the Glass House so leave yourself time. Check in at the store, and when it's time, you board a larger, comfortable van and drive several miles away. The driver is a bit of a maniac. This was my least favorite part. You will not be able to enter the property by any other means as it is fenced and gated. While there is no hiking required, you should be healthy enough to stand for an hour, with some walking on stone-grit paths and grass, with slight inclines. There are no bathrooms on the grounds but you will be offered bathroom use at the store before you leave. This is NOT appropriate for children-in fact, must be over 10 years old. As a schoolteacher, I would not recommend this to any young person unless they have an interest in architecture or the modern and post-modern style, or if they are very curious by nature. Parents, also please keep in mind, that people travel from all over the country to take this tour-will they have the experience they planned for while your child is also on the tour? Cam your child remain solemn and distraction-free for the length of the tour? If not, Grace Farms is 7 miles away and may be a better place to visit. There is no touching allowed at all, and it is all talking and looking, with historical details of the era and of Philip Johnson's life and that of his contemporaries.”

“Great Experience and Laid Back Atmosphere. The guys at the Studio, Tim Zick the Engineer, Nills the owner, and Tyler who takes care of their online posts and information were very down to earth and easy to work with. If you need a place to record something whether it be Simple or Complex I would highly recommend spending your time and money with these Highly Skilled, and very knowledgeable individuals. We will definitely be using these guys in the very near future for some more projects.”
