“Very nice seafood restaurant a little outside of the “touristy” Amsterdam central. I would recommend making a reservation like others mentioned! The fried fish was delicious, and the cooked seafood platter for 2 was just amazing. The presentation matches the taste of the food. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Amsterdam!”

“We really enjoyed the Dutch dishes, beverages and service here. Price is reasonable too. The dishes are all so authentic and delicious. Do give this restaurant a try when you are in Amsterdam.”

“Good address for HK dim sum, roast duck, wonton soups and noodle soups. The iced lemon tea and cold milk tea were quite authentic. The staff speak Cantonese which was a good sign. Hope to return to check out the wok hei in the stir fries. Appreciate the fact that we could reserve online.”

“The service by the staff was very warm and welcoming. It was so comforting having authentic Chinese cuisine with actual mala spices. I did wish it was spicier but I think it more suited to local taste. We enjoyed all the dishes we ordered, especially the mala chicken. Would recommend trying if you are in the mood for Chinese!”

“I was a bit unsure of this place as it seemed to be in a heavy tourist area and I prefer to find more unique restaurants. We decided to eat here anyway as it was getting late and we were not disappointed. The steak and spicy burger were lovely. Drinks service was a tad slow. Prices very very reasonable. €45 euro for a starter, 2 mains and 3 drinks”

“Great experience and nice service! Everyone is welcoming and friendly. The fish market concept is very good, and all seafood is fresh and delicious. We’re amazed by the grilled octopus! And they’re wine selection is also broad and in a acceptable price. A good place to welcome your friends who come to visit.”

“I eat fish almost every day of my life and every time I am in Amsterdam I stop at as many stalls as I can for some herring or mackerel or whatever I am in the mood for. This time I had a mackerel sandwich with a healthy serving of mayo too. I loved every bit of it from the smell to the taste. The fish has that pickled preserved flavor that is strong and balances the fish flavor a bit, the mayo brings a creamy texture to the dish and the bread is merely a vehicle for the fantastic fish. I’ve also had the herring too and would obviously recommend it.”

“Delicious Chinese beer with the amazing companion of noodles soup with shrimps dumplings, what else can I ask after a long day of work?? I totally recommend it, we did not have to wait to long for our dishes and the atmosphere is very calm and quiet with darker colors and candle light. I will come back very soon.”

“Really nice an cozy place, friendly staff and great food. Unfortunately, we had to wait a little to get the food but we got a discount as a compensation for the wait :) (Note:they only take card, we had some problems, but if you have the exact amount in cash it should be ok)”

“Everything we put in our mouths we loved!! The food was perfect and had so much flavor! I highly recommend this place. The staff was friendly! Wonderful cocktails too! Get the south side cocktail!”

“Best meal in Amsterdam. Fantastic food, innovative, exciting flavours, magical presentation. This family owned business is amazing and has been around f100s of years. Yet food is modern and spectacularly presented. Tjis young chef is a magician!!”

“We got the duck with pancakes, sweet and sour chicken and shrimp dumplings. The duck was amazing, the skin was crispy and the meat was moist. The chicken was also good! The dumplings were okay, but the shrimp inside was very mushy. The service is very quick and our waiter was super kind too. Overall I would definitely visit again!”

“Good breakfast spot. It is pretty popular so you might have to wait in line a little bit, especially if you want to seat outside on a sunny day. The eggs Benedict with salmon was good. I personally feel that they could have put more salmon and Hollandaise sauce for the price. The eggs could be a bit larger as well. What they do it put everything onto one bun and leave the other bun lying next to the main dish. Obviously if they spread everything onto two buns, it would look quite modest. What I liked is that they serve some fresh salad on the side. The coffee was good but also a bit overpriced. Overall no regrets but I would probably try another place next time”

“Amsterdam- Some of the best Japanese food in Amsterdam. The only thing they don’t carry is sushi. But everything in this restaurant is tasty. I lived in Japan for three years and I know good quality Japanese food, and they have good quality. The Ramen was especially good! But everything in the pictures I ordered was great, so I would highly suggest ordering anything from the pictures below.”

“This was one of a few times I’ve eaten at a 2 star Michelin restaurant so I expected nothing but perfection and that is exactly what we got in almost every area. The food was delish and fresh and every course was better than the last. The service was out of this world and such a well oiled machine. We loved the part where we were brought back to the chefs table area too such a nice touch. The ONLY major downside I would give this (fully well understanding the length of some of these meals) was that it just felt way too long as the entire dinner experience was over 3.5 hours in total.”

“Cool place to try a variety of house brewed beers, we had a taster plate with 5 small beers and the summer special. They also offer snacks and the location is easily accessible by tram. We walked around 30min from central. Prices are fine.”

“Best Turkish restaurant I've ever been to (and I have been to quite a few in and out of England)! Service was A-class! They treat their customers with utter respect and warmth! Discovered this little gem in the heart of Amsterdam on our 2nd night and we stuck to dinners there for all our nights during our Amsterdam trip! Just a short walk from Anne Frank House and a lovely spot by the canals. Restaurant is clean, there's inside as well as outside seating. Menu has lots of options and its halal. Food is fresh and well prepared! You can tell a lot of effort goes into giving customers the true taste of Turkish cuisine! Prices are outstanding! Portion sizes are really good! I would highly recommend! On our final night (staff weren't aware it was our final night in Amsterdam), the staff made our night...we got a treat from the kitchen...some lovely Turkish tea with baklava!”

“Nice day, nice little Cafe! Server was extremely busy but was still very cheerful. I bought a sparkling lemon tea and was recommended the apple pie with cream. The apple pie did not disappoint at all. Wasn't there for long. Only stopped for a snack and to rest my legs but was a positive experience 👍”

“Everything was very good! The portions are very generous and filling. We shared two starters and could not even finish the main course ramen. We decided to take it away with us. The prices are fair for the quality and quantity you get. It gets pretty busy here so make sure you get a reservation. The service is quick and efficient.”

“We were after a good steak and came across Luna whilst investigating good restaurants in the area. The reservation process was completed online and hassle free. The restaurant is really charming and cozy, one could spend hours staring at the bits and bobs covering the walls and nooks. The service was amazing! We were warmly welcomed and taken very good care of during our visit. The food was delicious! We were given complimentary starting plate of bread, butter, olives and a spicy olive oil- a simple but good warm up. For mains we had the Argentinian steak with peppercorn sauce and a side of fries & veggies. The food came quickly and was well prepared and tasty. To drink we had the house red wine which paired perfectly with the steaks. We loved our time in this cozy den.”

“Amazing brunch options, more than enough variations with something suitable for different tastes. It is on the expensive side, but definitely worth your money. Plus the staff is really nice, the chef is very skilled. Fast service even though it is full all the time in the mornings and afternoon.”

“Incredibly delicious food, best in Amsterdam in my opinion. Easy to reach from the main station and also very easy to spot because of the giant Mario statue behind the window. Incredible staff, always cheerful. Food has a lot of options and the time used for preparation is fast. It's also really nice to see the cooks working from your seating position, which makes this restaurant more personal instead of the big brand restaurants who put you somewhere in a corner. I would definitely come here again, as this place has risen to my number one favorite place to eat in Amsterdam.”

“One of the best African restaurant in the town. The host is super kind & funny. Food is really tasty and service is very fast. Very authenticate African place. Don’t expect the plates and cutlery, you will eat with your fingers and share the food. Try date cake - that is warm and with the cream. Try African coffee that is serve in the special pots. There is the beer from banana, coconut & mango - if you never had it, it’s time to try it (only 3,6 % alcohol). We will come again. Thank you for a great place & food ! 🙏”

“Absolutely fantastic food and service. Drinks are unique and delicious. Steak cuts are perfect, flavors are perfect. The restaurant itself is beautiful and comfortable. We had a fantastic time, a cozy find in central tourist district. Don't let the location fool you, it's a gem!”

“As a tea lover myself, this tea house felt like home. It has a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, like any tea house should be. Teas varieties are great and the staff are friendly and well informed. The cherry cocktail tea was so tasty flavorful.”

“This was a lovely experience! Our experience was fantastic, steak was full of flavor and cooked perfectly! Our waiter was accommodating and made sure our dinner was top notch. We visited from USA, and tried to find a great spot for steak and this was it. Thank you!”

“The fries were good but nothing special. The portions are quite reasonable but at the end you might feel heavy because of the amount of fried potatoes. They also offer a great variety of dips which are ordered as an extra. There may have cue but the service is really fast because they are frying potatoes without stopping. I ordered the truffled mayonnaise and then seasoned them with some spices. Personally, I think is better to share the fries and not eating them only as a main meal.”

“Good stop for a quick slice of pizza (pretty obvious). Prices are reasonable and I recommend checking the meal deals before ordering. As per the staff all the meat is halal.. and its a mean pizza.”

“Steamed or fried, baked or boiled, you have it all on the dim sum menu! And it’s delicious! And if you don’t like dim sum, don’t worry! There are other dishes to enchant your taste buds! But be aware! You might want to reserve a table upfront if you don’t want to queue for it!”
