“This turned out to be a pleasant breakfast spot. Wasn’t really sure what to expect, but we were hungry and needing a spot along our walk to the museums. When we popped in, the service was a little cold at first, but eventually warmed up and were pleasant. Good coffee, mimosa, pancake, and egg breakfast sandwich. Pretty big menu. Given all the options in the city, not sure I would make it a priority to go back, but we all enjoyed it and have nothing bad to say about it!”

“We came to Braai Westerpark for the birthday of my wife. We asked them for a festive dessert at the end as a surprise and they went out of their way to make it happen. On top of this great service, their food is just amazing. You can have a nice sharing platter for the whole group and all dishes are really good! We all especially liked the sausages. “It’s a place where you can taste various kinds of Korean food. It’s a all you can eat restaurant in 2hours. Each round you can choose 3menu per person. Food quality was quite great. Spicy rice cake and crispy pancake was my best. Meat and seafood are fresh. Although I have to change the grill paper every time, servers are nice. “Couscous Bar is a solid 5-stars for quick, healthy, custom, and delicious couscous bowls—vegan and non-vegan choices 😀 Two types of couscous to choose from: regular and whole grain (I prefer the whole grain, but then I like brown rice more than white rice). Also plenty of toppings with a choice of traditional Moroccan stewed vegetables (which was yummy), a sweet potato stew that looked great, and the eggplant (which I could eat as a separate dish all by itself—yummy 😋), and then choice of tempting lamb, moist chicken (what I ordered), or garbanzo beans (vegan choice). Also, the service was top notch. I met the owner—super nice and intelligent lady. Kitchen is super clean (see photos), and there is a terrific looking lounge area in the back. I highly recommend getting an order. I took my order to go and sat along the canals. As a tourist from California, this was the best coucous mix I’ve had in well over a year—even better than my mum’s homemade coucous. I love their, “Made by Mamas” logo 😊”

“Myself and my mum visited Steakhouse Grill Tango today whilst visiting Amsterdam from the UK. We managed to just walk in, no pre-booking required. The staff - front of house and also the chef were super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, we couldn’t fault it at all. “Fantastic sandwiches. We tried the rib sandwich and the beef chuck sandwich. The rib sandwich was absolutely amazing, the ribs were slow cooked for over 18 hours making them really soft with lots of flavour. I highly recommend everyone to try it. The beef chuck sandwich was great too. The chimichurri tasted a bit more like pesto than chimichurri though, but nevertheless tasted great.”

“We found this amazing restaurant by chance when walking around. And we had the most wonderful dinner experience in town. The food was very good, we ordered a mixed grilled mixed with beef, sausage and chicken. But more than the good food here, service is definitely the highlight - we had a chat with the manager and he was so warm and nice person. Other staffs also very helpful and smiley. “One of the best steak restaurants I’ve ever been to. We didn’t reserve our table. The staff welcomed us, took our coats and gave us a seat on a big leather couch next to a fireplace. The food came on a wooden tray and was served directly on it. We had short barbecue ribs and a fillet. Both delicious. They came with a jacked potato and a small salad. Perfect way to finish a long day of walking around. This restaurant is just off one of the many roads full of bars and clubs. It’s on the canal. Easy to get to, quiet, average prices. Highly recommended. Book in advance when possible.”

“Super place, excellent food and above all outstanding team! We were a large group so we got steak platters, duck platters, prawn, and salmon and everyone loved their meals! The cocktails were very creative and delicious and we all got cheesecake at the end which was lovely (could be a bit more creamy as a texture though but still flavors were great). The team supporting our table was beyond! Julian was the main person helping us but another team member as well, we didn't catch the name, but they were phenomenal. Super friendly, helpful, fun and authentic in their reactions so we loved them. The chef was close to our table and he was more than happy to serve us prawns which we thought were no longer available, even after we ordered something else. The team went really above and beyond to make sure we were happy, especially Julian. The place is good but, really, the team makes you more than happy that you visited. And the music is nice, I must add. Definitely recommended, especially for the staff!”
