I am from Brooklyn, NY and extremely picky when it comes to Italian food and eating Joe’s Italian specials brings me back. Defiant showed me that food does bring out wonderful memories. “They took out the Village Inn (VI) near my house on Bell Road and 3rd Street and put in a Biscuits Cafe. Unfortunately, the Biscuits closes at 2:30 pm. I relied greatly on VI. I am at work all day and really enjoyed dinner at VI. So now, I am forced to drive across town to the nearest remaining VI, which is where I had dinner today. The same wonderful menu, pleasant staff and (coincidentally, today is free pie Wednesdey) a piece of free apple pie to take home!! I miss my VI and wish they would put it back near my house ... I quite prefer it to BC.”

“Sandwiches are always made fresh to order, good menu selections. Love the soups and Mac and cheese. They should just go away with the 6 feet away stickers on the floor, you stand so close to the people in line with those finishing their orders and adding veggies. Then on the other side the high tops are open for customers so kinda cramped. Not too bad if you order ahead and just walk in the grab order. Can't really do anything to fix it as it's their normal layout.”

Every time I come here at night he's been very helpful even though he works alone sometimes he never complains and he has a good attitude. My chicken always comes out great my drinks are always tasty and the service is always good at this Popeyes. I will be coming here for a very long time just please be patient sometimes they run out of chicken it's not their fault. I would highly recommend anybody to come to this Popeyes.”

The entrance to 1130 The Restaurant looked inviting, with several out door tables and propane heater. We opted for inside dining on this chilly evening. Cameron, our personable server, seated us and promptly took our drink orders. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered suggestions on what were his favorite items. I love when my server does this! Cameron returned with complimentary honey cheese bread and our house Cabernets - reasonably priced at $6.95. The menu offers a great assortment of dinner options, from steaks to pasta and salads and sandwiches.”
