“This place is fantastic! I loved the Cambodian mixed grill (they were out of beef skewers), I actually appreciate a restaurant running out of things because it’s fresh. We also had the mi Chen egg noodle with shrimp and beef 10/10! The lemongrass beef was amazingly prepared and like no other dishes I’ve tasted. “This is really a 2 star review, but the woman who works there is so nice and I assume it’s her family I just can’t drop her rating as they only have 6 reviews. I’ve been here 4 times now only because they are literally 1 minute from my house. The food is not good, it’s bland, watery and is carelessly made. The dried spicy chilies in my dish today still had the stems on. The containers were only half full of food. There were only two broccoli pieces in one dish. Even the fortune cookies are stale and chewy. I’ve watched the chef cook and he just doesn’t care. Last time I was in and ordered fried dumplings, after 10 minutes I realized the chef was sitting at a table and my food still wasn’t out. When I stood up the woman saw me and yelled at him. He wandered over and tossed the dumplings in a wok and flipped them a few times for less than 15 seconds. Then he casually dumped them in a box and walked away. They weren’t even close to fried, not a crispy spot on them. I want them to be good but they just aren’t. I’m done trying or hoping.”

They have my favorite falafel in town (and I don't say this lightly), and my absolute favorite hummus (also a tall order). I could say there was maybe two things out of everything we have tried we didn't really like, one being a drink, which the bartender had no issue making us something else as she could see it wasn't something we liked. She ended up making us something else that was really good. I want to say that I hope this place doesn't get to popular so I don't have to worry about waiting, but from the looks of it, it's getting there. Looking forward to visiting again soon. “I believe it was USA Today that wrote an article designating The Stand burger as one of the best in the country. It's a quality burger, for sure. The beef is not greasy, clearly it is lower in fat. This is a plus for me but as you know this means less in the flavor department. A great bun, fresh condiments and a good sauce make up for some missing fatty flavor. We had fries... they're good but not the real crispy variety. We really enjoyed the food, hadn't eaten out for a good while (pandemic woes). Drive thru only is how you get your food. We pulled into the parking lot next door and ate in the car to enjoy everything at it's freshest. Be prepared to wait in a long line... The Stand is very popular!”

“This was my first time. Really liked the old school setting. Martin took great care of us. I just had two tacos, a chicken and a fish. Both were super. Piled with lettuce and tomato. Lots of great Protein.Very happy when Martin said they don’t have any type of dessert. Would have loved a churro but my waist line was thankful they had nothing. Price was super reasonable. We will definitely be back.”
