“We tried this place for a late lunch. We were greeted and seated right away. You cook your own food. You take a picture of the menu (due to Covid). The server brought out starter meats then passed by after a few minutes to see if you wanted any additional meats. The restaurant was clean and so were the restrooms. The service was very good. They meats were very good. The fried chicken was not to our taste. We enjoyed the whole experience. We will return with friends. A group of about 4 would be best as everyone can reach the grill in the center of the table.”

I always ask for fresh fries, and I’ve learned to ask that the double meat Whopper not be prepared until the fries are done, that way it’s as fresh as the fries. The gentleman who took my order walked straight to the back, and instructed the cooks how to insure the fries and burger came up together. Wow! Once the meal was ready I sat down to eat and was immediately impressed. The meat patties were warm, and tasty. The vegetables on the burgers were very fresh. The fries were perfect. These people must enjoy what they do and are happy to serve to turn out such a great meal. Seemed like the whole staff had a great attitude.”

“Dedicated parking lot with plenty of spaces, takes cash and card. Walk right in and have a seat where you'd like and a helpful and friendly server will be right with you! Not too many frills once you get inside, but the vibe is definitely all-diner and you're feeling at home. The menu sports traditional breakfast and lunch offerings. I had The Easy Does It and everything was perfectly cooked and delicious! Also, that was easily the best biscuit I've had since I left my home state of Georgia! They have MANY MANY options, calamari, octopus, eel, cooked chicken, and so much more! Fried cheese balls, egg rolls, cucumber salad, endame, and other side dishes as well. There is a charge "per plate" of food. It looked like the color of the plate also affected the fee, certain foods on certain colors of plate. The atmosphere was fun and casual. There were some that came and ate by themselves and others with friends/family. Our server came by offering refills multiple times during our meal. He was also friendly.”

“Plenty of street parking available, takes cash and card and serves food during the day and Tea till close. There are some cool seats in the windows sills, but otherwise a few two-tops line the walls with some comfy chairs to complement them. The music is chill and the ambience is great! And what a unique place...where else will give you free tea for simply picking up some trash from Grand Ave? It's this kind of stuff that's lacking in this world! Plus, the tea is DELICIOUS and thoughtfully steeped/brewed. There is a great selection available on the boards, but they also have a "build your own tea" area with lots of cool options to choose from. Not a tea expert? Totally fine, just ask all the questions you want, as the staff is friendly and ready to help. Plus, they're open late on weekends! Really dig this cool and unique space both for their tea and food offerings as well as the creativity and love for the community. Please swing by when you're in the area--definitely recommended! Just wanted to come back here and add that today I had the frittata with arugula salad and "seedy toast" and it was delicious!”

Went to the one on E Broadway in Mesa and damn, that late night carne asada burrito was so delicious, so good that I wanted to come back the next morning for their sausage & egg breakfast burrito.
