“We were looking for some dinner after we realized how late it was, and decided instead of driving to Filibertos (our usual late night Mexican food) we’d try Federico’s for the first time, after reading some of the reviews. From our first experience: The service was friendly & prompt. However, we asked for pico, not knowing this wasn’t included and weren’t told there was an up charge of $1.99 until we got to the window and were paying. We had just pulled out of the parking lot while checking our food, since one of the only/biggest complaints here is botching orders, and noticed they had forgotten the pico we paid extra for, and gave us 2 sauces instead of 4. Other than those two mistakes, I’d say the food was pretty great! I ordered the carne fries, and they definitely beat out Fili B’s carne fries hands down. My husband prefers the crinkle cut fries, while I prefer regular fries, which is what they serve here. That’s really up to preference— but the flavor was great and the hot sauce had a nice kick to it! My husband got a chicken taco and a beef taco, and said the beef was better than Fili B’s, and while the chicken he felt wasn’t terrible it wasn’t his favorite, it was definitely more generous when it came to the portion. Overall, not bad at all! If we need a last minute and/or late night dinner and are craving Mexican food, we’ll definitely hit up Federico’s from now on!”

“We are always on the hunt for the next best Mexican restaurant, ever since our favorite Mexican restaurant closed in Scottsdale. I love the friendly lady that greeted me once I came in that always goes a long way to make you feel welcome. They do have a drive thru but I like to see new places for myself the first time I go. I went in for a California Burrito which was not on the menu and the lovely lady said she can make it happen. My girlfriend wanted a bacon and egg burrito. I would definitely go back! I’m a big spicy food fanatic so I think I would have appreciated a more spicy salsa than your typical green and red “filiberto’s salsa”. The horchata is really good and sweet not at all grainy.”

“My daughter is allergic to nuts and eggs. This store goes out of their way to accommodate her allergies. They have no egg in the icecream and have a separate nut free blizzard blender in the back. They ring up nut allergies with a special code and blend them in their own blender. So happy my daughter was able to enjoy an Oreo blizzard!”

They are still giving good service and the food is great. This location has always had good service and no issues. The scorpion pepper burger is good. It was spicy but not as spicy as the voodoo sauce that they used to have.”

“This place is so delicious. I got the chicken Kabob plate as shown in my pictures. Comes with saffron rice, delicious chicken kebab a salad and a pita. We also ordered some humus that was also delicious. It is hard to come by Mediterranean food this good. The only other place that I know that makes Mediterranean food this good is in Los Angeles California (jewelry district) called Mediterranean Delight. I am so happy we went here and it was so delicious. We'll go again.”

“This is a seat yourself place. Service was so-so but I think it may have been a staffing issue, so not their fault. Decent selection of draft beers. If you text a code you get your first pint for $2. Ordered the fried pickles, pretty tasty and the ranch was delicious. Ordered the brussel sprouts and it has beer cheese drizzled on it. Pretty fantastic. I ordered the pesto mac n cheese with sausage. The portion was huge and probably my new favorite meal. We ordered the spicy gorgonzola burger and fries. It was super spicy, not a frozen pattie, flavorful. Fries were crispy. The beer was cold. Only complaint is the table was wobbly (we went to two different tables) and the floors were pretty sticky everywhere. Definitely go for the food. I look forward to trying something else on the menu.”

The man running the store was fast and efficient, great attitude. Another customer arrived at the same time, we were both out the door within 3 minutes. Guy knows his restaurant, and the pizzas amazing. The telephone ordering process sucked. This single pizza, half veggie half double pepperoni - was repeated 6 times. I said it twice. Easily accommodates left or right fuel filler openings straight in off of 7TH Street or Cactus/Thunderbird. No homeless or other creeps hanging around at 4 in the afternoon which is a huge plus! I've only been there a few times, in the daytime every time, so I can't say what it's like after dark.”
