“Interesting remote RV park on what appears to be a former mining area? Daily, weekly, monthly and yearly spots. Some are full hookups, some are dry camping. Community center, trash dumpsters, washroom showers, central fresh water spigots for the dry campers. Seems to be an interesting community of folks that return year after year. Staff was very friendly even to those that showed up without a reservation or prior notice. They found us a spot for a couple nites per our needs. Cell signal is poor for TMobile and Verizon, slightly better with ATT. RV area is rolling ridges and steep sections, this is not a flat RV park. The access road from paved hwy was 7.9 miles of washboard sandy dusty dirt so be warned.”

“Big Beautiful campground that’s no longer maintained. Grass over grown weeds high and more. If you go during monsoon season you’ll be lucky to find the water flowing down the rocks onto the road. Nice place to make a few s’mores or cook a few hot dogs on one of the many grills. Just beware that the weeds are a lil high and grass to your ankles so go prepared. Overall it’s a good place to get in touch with nature while getting away from the city.”

“Every bit as wonderful as the other reviews said. Site C22 is a bit tight but the pavilion was nice! There are many great sites and the dish washing station was a fantastic perk!”

“We stayed in the Oasis area of the campground in early April. Beautiful section with spacious, paved sites. Bathhouses we’re immaculate. Nice private bathroom with shower. We loved it here so much we booked two weeks next year. Nice dog parks; one small one large. The only problem we had is on our last night two aggressive Dalmatians who were in the dog park. The owners did not have control of them and we had to leave with our golden retriever. Otherwise it was a very nice visit.”

“Wide flat gravel sites. All hook up services were good. Scattered short trees so not a lot of shade.... like the rest of Tucson! Excellent close, flat trails with beautiful cacti. Friendly staff. Only negative was a pretty loud road with some kind of washboard surface 50 yds in front of the first RV row. Would stay again for the trails, a great morning walk.”

“We stayed here for a few days while visiting family. Nice location, great and super friendly staff, nice accommodations. The pool was colder than I expected, which was wonderful on 100 degree days!”

“This was our first KOA experience and we were so impressed! The site itself was clean & level and we loved having the patio/fireplace. The restaurant was wonderful. The amenities were nice and clean. And all of the staff was friendly. We will definitely recommend to friends/family and return if we are in the area again. Thank you!”
