“Besides being the only Chevron named Jackrabbit on the planet, this is a good location. They have a good selection if ice cream (on the right) , beer and soda (back of the store). Their gatoraid selection is fire and all the water you can drink, send some to California. Good selection of snacks and you can pull into a spot with a trailor. Note those cross winds. “A few months ago I purchased a vehicle with the dreaded 6.0L Ford Diesel engine, pre-2007, which are basically the ones you need to have bulletproofed. I took the vehicle to my normal mechanic (doesn't normally work on diesel) provided a honey do list of all things he thought were wrong with it. I family friend told me they had a friend that specializes in the 6L Ford engine to get a second opinion. Michael at MAD Performance took the vehicle for 24 hours and tested everything. It turned out that what my original mechanic thought the problems were, was not even close. Michael provided a list of the things from cheapest complete repair all the way up to full make over and bulletproofing. The cost was also over a thousand dollars less then two other places I received quotes from. The vehicle runs like a champ and I will be going back to him next year to finish the bullet proof process with getting the head gaskets done. A+ work and service. He did have my vehicle longer than I was used to for other repairs but it was well worth it. I have never had another mechanic take the time and care that Michael did. Thank you MAD Performance!”

Drove up and got a quote, loved the price so got quote for oil change and front light/rear fender eliminator at the same time, was able to drop my bike off the same day. Had an issue when they checked my rear break pads(they were worn out) and couldn't find any instock nearby, Jeremy made some calls and wasn't able to find any either so I had him order me some, collected bike today and it looks great. “We were on a cross country trip from Prescott AZ to Savannah GA. An hour east of Tucson we heard a loud clunk in the vicinity of the right front wheel. We couldn’t determine what it was but it clunked loudly over every little bump in the road. We returned to the Tucson KOA where we contacted a mobile tech. He found that the steering stabilizer spring was cracked and broken. He had a contact at Freedom RV and he said they could get to it Monday at 0830. Only two business days! That’s unheard of! We arrived this morning and we’re greeted by the tech there named Woody. VERY knowledgeable! He removed the stabilizer and I test drove it. Sadly, the clunk was still there. I picked up Woody and went for a drive. After just a few minutes, he said, “I think I know what that is.” And he did. There is a coach support truss that bolts to the Motorhome chassis and the bolts had back off approximately .5 inch! He said it’s a known problem on the Ford chassis. We were fixed and out of there in around 30 minutes! I wish I knew the name of the nice person at the counter. She was very nice and they all seems to care that we got back on our trip. Usually, I am loath to go to an RV place but these folks were different. A totally great experience. Thank you Freedom RV!!!!”
