“I hosted a birthday picnic here with my family and it was a wonderful time. The park had a little water fountain with a hose bib so we were able to make water balloons. (We cleaned up as much as possible 😅). I like the playground as it has a lot of fun stuff for the kids. There are 2 ramadas and 4 tables as well as some benches spread about. Lots of grassy areas to roam and fly kites. Just enough trees for some shaded areas. Overall very pleasant and peaceful. It's a hidden gem for sure.”

“This is such a great spot! Very nice, clean and looks to be recently renovated community center that got pool tables, individual study desk, small group work stations, classrooms to rent out, outdoor courtyard seating, pool tables, games, basketball court, PH balanced water stations among other things. Please note that you need to get either a day pass for $2 from the front desk or a $20 annual membership subscription from the front desk at either of the center locations ( connects by previously mentioned courtyard *see pics) as there is a youth/ general facility and theb a senior center building right next door. There's a lot of really great resources and activities etc available that you should consult front desk about as fees are separate in some cases and individualized and others.. we're talking art classes fitness classes recreational activities and even meal programs.. they have benefits at their senior center for patrons 60 years and up however if you are 18 years or older with a disability you are also able to participate in the availability. They even have meals they're doing starting up soon which I think entail a lunch in the afternoon that if not covered by the senior membership can be obtained with the 18 or older disability thing at a slightly additional cost per meal. Legitimately impressed, as the other day when finding out the membership costs I was kind of put off because off at the idea of paying to get access to the facilities but you can definitely see that the funds are absolutely needed and worth the price of admission seriously the impressed feeling I have right now after my conversation with the ladies at the front is extremely rare so if you're interested take a look spread the word the place is like a ghost town they could surely use the activity and crowd . Take a look it's located NW corner of the park.”

“Wow! I'm new to the area and the newly replaced footbridge is fantastic at the Arivaca Cienega. The Mustang trail is a beautiful and dynamic hike and the refuge in Sasabe is a delight. The visitor center is a nice old building with wildlife taxidermy and so many birds to see.”

“We took the trolley up and enjoyed the scenery and the information in the tour. We especially appreciated the strictly enforced mask wearing as we have frail family members at home to protect. Half our group hiked the ridge back down and the rest of us rode back one stop then walked the rest of the way. We had a wheelchair with us and the road was manageable for able bodied people to push it. There were some pretty good uphill sections so we got a great workout. The scenery was so beautiful! We stopped at most of the creek crossings and our chair user was able to get out and walk around a bit. We were a as all SO happy to find somewhere to safely be outside together.”

“You must visit this park. There were literally hundreds of butterflies everywhere. Hundreds of butterflies in trees and plants. Super cute park with tons of funky pieces of artwork that consist of fused glass and metal. Well worth a 60 to 90 minute stroll. There is also a lovely community garden that we strolled through. Very neat to see all the different types of plants that people are growing.”

“This place has an amazing assortment of southwestern decor, pottery, nic nacs, and an ample amount of unique things. The enterance is decorated beautifully and draws your attention immediately . The real treat is the huge back outdoor area which is everything and anything to give your yard a colorful lift or some added interior decorations , I was blown away by the amount of pots , stands , decor , tiles . I suggest you taking your time while browsing , there is so much to see . Pricing is fairly reasonable ranging from $-$$$ Staff was extremely friendly and will assist with carrying your items to the register to hold while you shop. Highly recommend stopping by here if your in the Cave Creek area.”

“What a gift that this Preserve exists! Trails were well marked and the path around the lake was very easy to walk. For an additional challenge, try out the lookout. Very nice description of mountains on the horizon. The interpretive center had lovely descriptions of birds and other critters. Local poetry and natural habitat. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and would 100% recommend it.”

“Small to medium in size, this person feels the park has considerable appeal. The is a gully on the north end of the park separate from the rest of the park. Lots of interesting trees. A lot of sidewalk that one can walk considerably in a small area. Good basketball court. Not enough picnic tables or benches. Next to a good playground are two opportunities for shade. Large open grassy field that can allow multiple activities and or sports. Landscaping is well done. On street parking on west side. No handicapped. Playground looks like it is being enjoyed. Has woodchips plus a small sandpit. There was a second basketball slab that has lights. Chandler might consider it for roller blading or possibly a pickle ball court?”

“Hopefully they open this developed picnic area to overnight camping in the near future, I'll give it 5 stars when they do. Located a few miles South of Robins Butte Wildlife Area when heading South on AZ85. Numerous sites with shaded tables, BBQ's, restrooms. There are a couple easy hikes up the hills to get a decent view of South Buckeye and the White Tank range. Only a few miles away from the Buckeye RV & Boat Storage makes it a convenient location for a quick day trip.”

“A great place for an awesome Rodeo experience. Everything is top notch and very entertaining. There is a boardwalk with carnival rides, food, and vendors, and then the entertainment. The bull riding was fun and exciting to watch. The announcer and entertainment were spot on during downtime. This is a very friendly family environment. Very affordable.”

“Absolutely beautiful. The trails are well groomed but rocky. Wear good hiking shoes or boots and bring plenty of water. There are a lot of trails to choose from depending on your level. There are shorter more well groomed trails like the waterfall trail or longer 9+ Mile trails with lots of elevation changes. Lots of wildlife to see on the trails and beautiful views. The library at the entrance of the park is also very nice. There is a great souvenir shop in the library as well.”
