“I felt the Gentleman at desk I felt was kind, the beds are very comfortable and clean. Plenty of stations on the tube and the only noise was high speed on the ac/heat but all in all my Mother and I had a pleasant stay. “For a king suite it wasn't what I was expecting (but it was a place to lay our heads). Pullout couch for my son had no bedding in the closet to make the queen sized pullout. We took half the bedding off the king to provide him bedding materials. Morning staff was awesome.”

“Wonderful place to stay for the night. We had a clean comfortable room..hardwood floors. Beds comfortable and bathrooms clean. Lots of channels on the tv. And we ate from pizza inn who delivered to our room.. The prices were right on target. Last but not least the staff..they were friendly helpful and we felt comfortable here. The ONLY complaint we had was the continental breakfast. There was nothing to eat but cereal but there was no milk. We did however not get in there till 830am so I guess the others ate it all. Not a big deal.”

“This place is good for a one night stayed. It’s very simple but at least it has hot water for shower and the bed is comfortable. We used Priceline to book but was told the hotel don’t allow a third party to charge because of issues in the past. So No need to book through a third party. We stayed for 1 night and got up early to get back on the road.”

“The lady who helped me with laundry was thoughtful and gracious. Everything we needed was immediately provided. When my husband didn't feel well on check out day, another day in the room was no prob. The room was spacious and clean. I think a diet selection in the soda machine for us diabetics would be a good idea.”

“Pelican Pass is absolutely amazing! Cynthia & Kevin Brewer have a wonderful home on a quiet lake with a fantastic view. My family and I just enjoyed four days of rest, relaxation, a bit of recreation and more importantly, a chance to unwind and recharge. Cynthia brings warmth and enthusiasm into every thing she does; you can't help but just smile. Oh, and when she and Kevin cook... you better schedule a little extra time for a nap! Pelican Pass is family -- and we can't wait to go back!”

“Wonderful property in an ideal location if you enjoy the casino or dog track next door. It seemed very well kept both inside and out. The lobby was very elegant yet welcoming and our room looked recently refreshed with vibrant shades of blue on the walls and bedding. It had all the amenities you could ask for as well as a guide book providing helpful info including local restaurants and tv stations. The mattress was so thick and comfy, I got a great night’s sleep! I plan on staying here anytime I’m in the area again.”

“Wonderful place loved watching the tug boats and barges on the Mississippi River. The park is well maintained and clean. Don't be discouraged by the area around the office and the unsightly discarded large items- It seems they put most of their time making sure the RV sites are taken very good care of. And the office is not close to the RV sites. Wonderful laundry facilities throughout the campground. The sites are level and easy to navigate. Nice benches to sit on by the river.”

“Showed up there at 2:30 in the morning and the desk attendant was right there, didn't have to ring a bell and wait so I was in my room quickly and got the rest I needed so I could finish my trip the next morning. The room was good sized and it had a king size bed, everything was nice and clean and had a tile floor instead of carpet... which is much cleaner and easier to keep clean. Checkout was quick and easy and I had no problem getting a receipt before I left. Price was good and it's located right off the freeway, I would definitely go back to this one if I'm in the area again.”

“I stayed in this little slice of heaven for two weeks while visiting my in-laws. The Mississippi is ever changing and there are sites available right on the water. I advise you to book early for the best views. I think it was sites 90 and 100 with the best view. There were barges and birds even got to see what looked like a river otter. For nature and tranquility this place is it! There was a bit of night life in the campground too, because my son who is traveling with made some cool friends to hang out with. But they were quiet and respectful too. The grounds offer decent showers and free laundry. This comes in handy for full timers or if you are taking a long trip. This place is truly a gem!”
