“Although it's now called Atlas Cafe, Eko cafe in downtown Hayward is essentially the same as it was when we lived here 8 years ago! They make great traditional crepes, traditional in that the layers are thin and plentiful, not in flavors. This s'mores option really hit the spot, especially because of the graham cracker bits' crunch sprinkled in there with the melted marshmallow, cookie butter, and chocolate. Great cafe for working, too, especially on a sunny afternoon.”

“This place has a beautiful outdoor seating aesthetic, they have an overhang to shield you from the sun. Also they decorate it with succulents, or if you prefer indoor they have that too… along with incredibly handmade sandwiches. A new favorite. I posted a review half a year ago about how the Yogurt & Vietnamese coffee is so good but we could only pick-up during the pandemic… then recently I got the dine-in experience. I’m old fashioned & this place makes me feel like they put love into the food they serve.”

“Never been here before, I ordered the ceasar salad with chicken and the vegetable soup bowl. Overall it was hearty, there wasn't a lot of people inside and they have tables to charge you phones or laptops. Reminds me of Starbucks but serving food. “After paying the rent a day early, I decided to treat myself to pizza, since I couldn't get Blessed with a ticket to the Superbowl & a George Kittle Jersey (#85). While looking online, a great BOGO coupon to Mountain Mike's Pizza stuck out to me. To my surprise, this proved to be a great decision. You see, I'm vegan and very picky about patronizing restaurants. Long story short, the Mt. Veggiemore (with no cheese of course) was my choice. Let me tell you...it was amazing! This pizza was loaded with with great toppings like mushrooms, black olives, artichoke hearts, bell peppers and fresh sliced thin tomatoes. The taste was great! Normally vegan cheese is added to it when I get home; not needed in this case. Staff was nice; the best part was a young lady that works there, used to be a vegan. God was really smiling on me today.???? Research was done to make sure there were no dairy 'slide ins' in the dough or ingredients but she also shared her experience about the pizza with me. My order was placed to go; took around 15 minutes or so for me to be in and out. Price point is second tier, but worth the money. Google search or go online to find a coupon for their brand pizza. That's what I did to get the Bogo. You figure 14 slices w. 2 pizza's cost me $27 and change AND it sits well cold- Not a bad deal. Hopefully you will get the chance to visit this location (in Hayward off Harder Rd). The pictures that are listed are the actual ones from this night 1/31/20 (6pm). I love finding great places that respect the vegan patrons. Thank you again staff at Mountain Mike's you made this a great experience. Btw- I had extra sauce on the side, but did not need it.”

“We happen to be in the area and very hungry. Discovered this little gem that serves delicious food. Food alone will have me coming back but on top of that customer service was also great! It's simple, you look at the menu and order at the cashier when ready. They serve brunch on weekends. Also have beer to have with your food. It's never too early for beer. Tried the Betty Chicken Sandwich that the cashier recommends and I was not disappointed. Glad I took his advice. Brisket sandwich is so juicy and very soft. Also sell watermelon juice and it was very good. My son didn't even want to share.”
