“Cramped up place with a kitchen in the back of the store. Veggies are not as fresh and stocked like the coconut hill in warm springs. Decent crowd movement and limited stock.. could be for a quick grab grocery than extensive shopping..”

“My friend took me and my other friends (who were visiting at the same time) to Biryani Xpress when I visited San Francisco from Detroit for Dinner. We ordered Jackfruit, Goat and Chicken biryani as well as Goat Curry and tandoori roti and wrap. The taste was very authentic with just the right amount of spices. Goat curry was amazing. Both Chicken and Goat Biryani was awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed the food. I definitely will visit again when I am back to SFO. I definitely recommend Biryani Xpress to everyone who loves to eat flavorful Indian food.”

“We stayed at a DoubleTree hotel next to the restaurant, and went there for a Sushi dinner, the portion was relatively big! Just an OK restaurant, nothing special.”

“I think it's a decent coffee shop in the neighborhood. The interior is spacious and comfortable, and the employees are friendly. It is used by a wide range of age groups, and after 2:00 p.m. is considered a crowded time. And best of all, the coffee tastes good.”

“My daughters and I were there last week. We ordered 2 boba drinks, popcorn chicken and cheese sticks. The popcorn chicken was amazing, love the flavor, spices, right hit of everything . Kids said the drinks were awesome. We are going back again and again and recommend everyone to try this place, you will never be disappointed.”

“Went here for dinner... And had amazing Guac! First time someone decided to make it spicy.. Loved it. The shredded chicken with mole sauce was good too. Portions were good too, not too less, not too much. The spicy margarita was pretty good too, will recommend it. Service was fast enough! It was a small place, can't fit in large crowds.”

“Not so many Chinese restaurants outside Oakland Chinatown that rate a review. Yes, many around UCB campus that crush Chinatown. Ok, Chen's Garden is now on my speed dial. I will order dinner again and would like to dine in. Dining area very clean and many tables for singles or families. I like Chen's Garden, would you update or give them your review? Good appetite”

“The cakes and pastries are too good. We enjoy their fresh bakery spread and experience. I ordered lavender coffee which was not in their menu (they have lavender macha). The gentleman was kind enough to accommodate the request, but the coffee wasn’t any good. Overall the experience that day was spoiled for me, but will go back for the fresh bakery.”

“The quesabirria was on point today, and the superburrito was equally tasty. They substituted the cheese and creama for potatoes INSIDE the burrito. The quesabirria was tender, jucy, and the cheese was dripping into the dipping soup. We came after Rush hour so the food came out almost before we could finish grabbing our chips and salsa. Friendly staff and great (Mexican) music!”

“Taco Tuesday! Taco Tuesday! $1.50 for a chicken/steak taco. Great taste, plenty meat, fantastic value! Authentic Mexican food. Been to Cabo several times and this tastes very familiar. I also had the burrito and quesadillas which tastes really good as well. Pricing is fair, and the atmosphere is great.”

“I’ve only had positive experiences here. I love their chicken sandwich and their waffle fries are far superior than any other fast food restaurants. Crispy & crunchy on the outside and soft & pillowy on the inside. The items are slightly pricier but the standard of quality is reflected. This is the best place to get an exceptional chicken sandwich any day of the week…especially Sunday.”

“Our wonderful server helped us choose our food. She made the evening delightful. Lots of tasty choices. The six layer chocolate cake is beyond belief!! Plus, the presentation was beautiful. 😋😋 Sadly, however, I was exhausted by all THE NOISE!🤯 Will not be returning for only THAT reason. Fine dining in a noisy warehouse is not "my cup of tea." P.S. Perhaps I will get that chocolate cake to go.😋”

“I may shower this fine institution with praise, but much to my chagrin, my high esteem has been shattered ever since I made the decision to request the Caramel Crumble milkshake on my subsequent visit. This proved a horrible blunder—and a clever piece of advertising. As much as I had, upon first impression, ardently respected the toil of the employees (particularly following the deliverance of my Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Fruit Cup—an excellent companion to the signature dipping sauce, take my word for it) the milkshake I received was a let-down. Their marketing team is no doubt crafty; the expected cherry on top was nonexistent, the whipped cream flaccid, and the much-anticipated caramel crumble tasteless and lacking Chick-fil-a’s signature texture. I can’t say I’ve been more disappointed since the McDonalds Quarter Pounder with Extra Cheese lacked the superfluous dairy that I had banked on. Altogether a disappointment. From now on I will be terminating my monthly donations to this (not so fine) institution.”

“The space is a beautiful renovation of classic residential home. I had the French toast special, which was only $10! I watched them make the sauce and it was incredible. Not many places in the Bay Area where you get this combination of price and quality. Iced coffee was solid too. Will 💯 return when I am back in the area.”

“Oh my this food was super effin’ delicious! We got the oxtails and meatloaf and it’s the best I’ve had since I’ve moved out here from Mississippi. It reminds me of my grandmas cooking.”

“This place is honestly something special, even from when you first walk in. It's like a boutique experience of a Thai restaurant, and it feels warm and welcoming. The service was on point, with the staff being incredibly nice and respectful the whole time. We ended up showing up pretty late, but they had no issues with allowing us to stay after closing time. As the chefs were leaving, they each bowed respectfully, wishing us a great night and telling us how they'd hoped the food tasted great. It's hands-down the best service I've ever received at a Thai restaurant. The food was also excellent, and I was surprised (and pleased) with the presentation of the food. Everything from the little napkin flower they used to cover the straws on our Thai Iced tea, to the flame-centered serving bowl for our Tom Yum, was highly appreciated, and really enhanced the meal. My favorite dishes were the Papaya Salad and the Tom Yum soup (mentioned before). You also HAVE to try the Thai samosas, I could eat them everyday. So good. We will definitely be back. The service and food were simply excellent.”

“I recently visited Susie Q's Pizza and had a pleasant experience overall. I've been to this place a couple of times and have tried their cheesesteak and pizza. While the cheesesteak was just okay, I highly recommend their pizza above everything else. The pizza offers a delightful taste with a generous amount of cheese that adds to its deliciousness. One thing to note is that the pizza at Susie Q's is on the pricey side. However, the quality and taste make it worth considering as a treat or special indulgence. Additionally, the fast, efficient, and friendly service provided by the staff at Susie Q's Pizza truly enhances the dining experience. On the downside, parking can be a bit difficult to find around the area. So, keep that in mind when planning your visit.”

“One of the unfortunate aspects of this branch of Local Cafe is that their prices are a bit-higher than their other locations. However that's largely because the environment and atmosphere more than make up for it. Local Cafe Fremont as a sprawling karaoke set up, and an excellent selection of beverages all lined up on these massive fridges against the wall. They also have a claw machine (that's a little rigged in my opinion). The food is wonderful and authentic. Especially love their afternoon tea options. They are a good example of casual authentic cantonese, South-Chinese cuisine.”

“Pros: ▫️ Centrally located on Mowry avenue ▫️ A good stock of fresh produce ▫️ Starbucks next door to coffee up Cons: ▫️ Staff appear fatigued and perhaps could benefit from a healthy rotation of duty and some on-duty rest. All in all, Lucky is a go-to destination for quick green grocery shopping.”

“Little hole in the wall taqueria with 3 tables inside with also a taco stand right outside. The meat is very flavorful. We tried the tacos with carne Asada, lengua, Al pastor and suadero. I wanted tripa but they were out”

“Really good food, everything tasted great, super clean and spacious. The Gyoza was delicious. But unfortunately the customer service wasn’t good at all, I didn’t get his name but he’s a heavier set waiter and everything about him was just rude towards us. His demeanor, the service (never checked on us had to ask another waiter multiple times, I asked if he could show me where I can find cooked sushi rolls and just said “it’s in there” regardless it’s unfortunate that bad customer service can impact all the other great qualities this restaurant has to offer. I really hope next time the service is different.”

“The roasted pork and barbecue pork are good, but the rest of the food needs some improvement. Don't think they have enough people to help serve the line either. But for the price they charge, you just deal with it.”
