“Beautiful & well kept walking/riding path. On a sunny Sunday afternoon it was not crowded at all!”
Address: Jeep Trail, Lafayette, CA 94549, USA
“This is the upper end of the path from Moraga Way to the Lafayette Reservoir Rim Trail (aka "Jeep Trail"). The entrance of path is at 601 Moraga Way at intersection of Via Grenada, where there is plenty of street parking. The path is a nice summer/fall entrance to the Rim, with a cool shaded forest. However it is quite muddy in winter/spring so not is as suitable during that season. The path is 0.63 miles long and only steep at the end. There are some trail steps on steep portion, but the path is largely narrow and unpaved. The path is not suitable for bicycles (which are prohibited on this connecting path). The Rim Trail is a fire road and quite wide, with beautiful panoramic views of the reservoir bowl and surrounding landscape. It begins and ends near the dam, with a couple of side entrances like this one around the edges. As the Rim Trail is maintained it is suitable to walk year round. The park is only open during daylight hours.”

“Excellent starting spot for Martinez waterfront activities. Bathrooms are pretty clean, but lack soap or towels. Great trails, good for families, bikers.”
Address: Moraga, CA 94556, USA
“Good spot for the quick 1 mile loop or the much longer 6.5 loop! If you go for the longer (King’s Canyon) I recommend doing it counter clockwise and getting the big hill out of the way first. This spot connects to a lot of trails and a lot of those trails allow dogs (on leash).”

“Why would we give this 5 stars? Because it's like everywhere else along the Bay Trail. East Bay Regional Parks has made this entire beautiful area more accessible. The point itself has some real interesting Sandstone formations and tidepooling here can be fun at low tide.”
Address: 2287 Cypress Ave, San Pablo, CA 94806, USA
“East Bay Regional Parks is doing a great job connecting all the smaller trails which will eventually become the Bay Trail. The section has really nice views and now a pedestrian / cyclist Bridge that goes over the railroad tracks.”

“Paid parking but it’s not too expensive. Max 2 hour parking but you can easily walk around the reservoir within 1 1/2 hour. Also has a great picnic area with playground and play structure for the family. Also great place to walk the dog, there’s a water bowl halfway around the reservoir with a little water tap with clean water to drink. Several public restrooms around the reservoir too.”
