“I am the kind of person that usually only comes here to look at reviews, not write one myself. This time is different because Christine is THAT good! My daughter was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia in October of 2013 and was placed at Millers Children's hospital in Long Beach after a long month of wondering what was wrong. Originally we were placed with Dr. Patel whom I also care for deeply and have grown to love like family, then my daughter was changed to high risk and we were sent over to Christine and the high risk MD at Millers. She has been such a great source of happiness and hope for our family, she takes the time to answer my millions of questions and has so much patience with all that I throw her way. I don't know how I would have made it almost to maintenance now, had we not been put with her. She has become a part of our family and we love having her and feel very grateful that she came into our lives. If you are looking for someone to help you along your journey with your child, she is the person to go to. I would give her 10 stars if I could!”

“Finding care for an elderly parent is not for the faint of heart. It was also something my elderly mother didn’t want but she really had no choice. Living in constant pain because of bone and hip pain, and having recently broken her dominant wrist, mom needed care 24 hours a day. While she is still independent (thinking, behaving and some physical), she really is dependent on others for bathroom help, cooking , moving , medicine, etc. there’s no place like Bella Palms! Their homes are well kept, cleaned all throughout the day, stocked with food, and staffed with caretakers who know how to care for our elderly loved ones. There’s no denying that Bella Palms offers more than a larger “assisted living” apartment-like community would. It’s personal and it’s 24-hours every day. 6 residents max owe home with 2 caretakers for every shift. All of their personal info (doctors visits, medicine, vitamins, etc are kept secured and are maintained all throughout the day. While my mom will never be happy because she’s not in her own home, there’s absolutely no doubt that she’s glad to be well taken care of. Bella Palms relieves me of worrying about mom. Another plus with their care, they celebrate each resident’s birthday, have lovely spreads for holidays and all the food is freshly prepared. They also follow local protocols for visiting guests - temps are taken and Covid tests administered if that’s something that’s important to you.”

“This is an old school barbershop 💈 and a very good one. Warning CASH ONLY which is fine. I had a couple guys cut my hair but I think Jeff does the best. There is also a Master Barber instructor there as well. These guys have been cutting hair for decades and very good at. Jeff has cut hair in some of the hoods of so not sure why one guy said he didn’t feel welcomed. I’m Mexican and although there may not be a welcome celebration when you walk in as soon as you get I. The chair you are welcomed! Great cuts for a great old school price. What matters most is a great cut for a great price and this is the place.”
