“I slept one night at this hostel. The price is excellent and the location is REALLY PERFECT. It is a mixed dorm with approximately 15 beds. The people were very respectful and calm. Thanks to Orlando who welcomed me very greatly. Nice guy and very nice landlord. Thanks Carlos! See you soon!”

“Great place to stay! Not too far from Venice Beach, walking distance maybe 4 blocks. Either way great walk and around restaurants and clubs. Beds are soft and cozy, especially the pillows. Shower had great water pressure. Everything was clean and felt homey. Only issue is the coffee. They have a Kueregin the room but the water bottles are $5 each *we brought our water* and the sugar and creamer or in packages. They do not have coffee or breakfast in the lobby because of the pandemic. The website had complimentary breakfast. No worries though bc a Starbucks and other coffee places are in the area. All in all, I'd stay here over and over. Definitely get the parking package! Worth every penny.”

“We love to visit Venice Beach. The former hotel we used to stay at closed down. But were so happy to find that Danielle now works her. We absolutely love her. She is so amazing and made our experience top notch. The room was adorable, very cozy and clean. The location was extremely convenient and even had parking available. We have now found our hotel to stay at every time we visit.”

“If you’re up for an adventure this is the place to be. I stayed here for 4 days! I was only expecting to stay for 2 but I felt so comfortable and safe that I extended my stay. The staff were so so friendly. Clean amenities and a great space to work upstairs if you’re a remote worker like myself. There were >no”

“If you are looking for a clean place to sleep in Venice, this is a good choice. It’s in a good locations, lots to do and see within walking distance. A ton of homeless people are lined up right outside but they keep to themselves for the most part. It’s like a ghost town when the sun goes down. I stayed here with my teen son and we tried to be back before dark. There is a bike rental shop a few buildings down so it was convenient to get bikes and ride down to the Santa Monica pier. There is no AC but there had two fans in the room. They had us on the first floor with windows opened upon our arrival. I didn’t feel safe being on first floor with windows open so I had maintenance come lock my windows. If you’d like windows open, probably best to request a room on 2nd floor or up. No frills, basic, outdated, hollow floors so you can hear people walking. It’s tolerable if you’re low maintenance. For the price and location it’s a good choice.”

“This place is a gem and I'm actually reluctant to recommend it because I almost prefer to keep it to myself. However, it is too great not to be shared. The location is excellent for Venice beach and boardwalk because it's right on both and just far away from the noisy parts to be quiet at night. Not all rooms are created equal and I highly recommend upgrading if possible. Mid October is my favorite time to visit here because its typically still warm but not too hot and the summer crowds are long gone.”

“This place is amazing, it's at the beach, there is going to be sand everywhere. It's at the beach something's will have rust on them from the salt in the air. But to be completely honest, it is one of the most relaxing places to hang out and chill at. Robin is a sweetheart and if you are respectful and courteous that is exactly what you will get in return. I have stayed here at least 5 times when visiting California and I can't say enough about the location. It's on the pier at the beach. In the perfect spot for relaxing by the ocean. Highly recommend.”

“This little beachfront marvel is definitely a good choice. It's right at the beach and offers a very nice view from the rooftop terrace as well. Very friendly and helpful staff, great location. Little downsides are the bad parking situation and the cold water in the showers. However we enjoyed the visit very much and highly recommend it.”

“This place is amazing. It’s practically on the beach. My room had a sea view and was bright with big windows and everything you needed, including a refrigerator. The people working there are super nice and helpful. I will go back if I can”

“Our stay was great! Staff is awesome ...I was very hesitant based on reviews but I think people don't understand Venice Beach! The homeless are part of the folklore of the entire beach :) the rooms were clean, the continental breakfast was the best and the roof top gave us the best view of the NYE fireworks. Downside and reasons for my 4 stars, the sofa beds need some upgrades as soon as possible!!!”

“I was perfectly happy with my stay! It felt like the hostels I stayed at while backpacking in Europe. The people are chill, the common room is cozy, everyone does their best with the shared kitchen, I felt safe and slept comfortably with plenty of crazy Venice-induced dreams.”

“Spent the weekend and found the hotel to be perfect. Close enough to be able to walk to everything but between the pier and the muscle beach section to be far enough away to be quiet. Staff was great and would recommend this to anyone.”

“It's a great location to the ocean. The room has a fridge, freezer, coffee & teas. It also included a Continental breakfast and free parking. If you want a tour of various sights in LA,they are set up for you to pick out the tours you want. It was comfortable.”
