“I came in a week ago. It was a Sunday at 3am. Not sure if my review had anything to do with the day and time, but I loved my experience. Although I was in so much pain (sprained, swollen ankle) the front desk was so helpful and concerned. The triage personnel was excellent, brought me in fairly quickly and right away started treating me. Gave me Tylenol and took my vitals, X-rays, 2 vaccines for pain, blood work, a walking boot. All within 3 hours. I was done and literally walking out (came in on a wheel chair). I saw the doctor as well (twice) but my credit is given more towards the nurses, triage and front desk. Since I didn’t go un-noticed by them. Thank you! 🙏🏼”

Faith, helped me with all my questions, she made suggestions, and she even gave me some samples to try. I finally made my selection, apple pie sugar free, delicious. Before I left she gave an extra pie, to take home. Thanx Faith. You made my day…that pie gave everyone, especially my nephew, a big smile..it was his birthday. “My mom lived with my husband and I for 10 years but is now on hospice care. We wanted to find a place for her that would feel as close to being home as possible. She has been at Shiloh Retreat for over 7 months and we are very happy with this choice. Jesse (owner) and Cynthia (manager) are amazing and sincerely care about every resident. The only issue we had was that the TV was too complicated but they hooked up regular cable in her room and that is no longer a problem. Since she spends a lot of time in bed that was important. This home is kept very clean at all times and has up-to-date décor. The caretakers cook the meals so it gives the residence a feeling of being home. I HIGHLY recommend this place!”

“CC Retro Shop is a hidden gem that we’re so happy to have found. If you want high-quality, refurbished vintage mid-century furniture, this is the place to go! They have really awesome furniture that they clearly put a lot of workmanship into restoring and the results are gorgeous, unique furniture pieces you can’t find most places. The pieces are all fairly priced and we felt like we got a great deal on higher quality furniture than you’d get at a big named store. They also deliver within the LA area for only $40, which was an awesome service. We live in West LA and they were able to deliver to us next day, which was awesome. Anthony and his wife were super knowledgeable and friendly and we had a great experience working with them. We’ll 100% be back for more furniture!”

“First time here for dine in. I enjoyed the teriyaki salmon with California roll, veggie tempura, rice and steamed veggies. We also ordered the chicken teriyaki. Both dishes were served in foam to go containers, nothing wrong with that but it feels more like take out than a dime in experience. The food was fresh, served hot and we enjoyed the Teriyaki flavoring and dipping sauce. My only comment and why this review is short of 5 stars, is because there is no public restroom. I feel the fine in food establishments should give the consumer access to the restroom. And I’m a green tea lover, there is no green tea only black tea. Parking is easy and food was served quickly. Overall a good dining experience. I would return and bring green tea from home 😀”
