“I love training at Shark Sports Boxing Gym in Whittier! My main goal was to lose weight and to learn a new skill. Three-months into my membership I have found myself losing 15-pounds thanks to their strength and conditioning routines. Not only do I feel great physically, but my confidence in learning how to throw punches and defend myself have grown exponentially as well. If you stay consistent and show up often, you'll see similar results as well! It can feel totally normal and sometimes intimidating to enter a boxing gym for the first time, but let me put your concerns to rest in letting you know that all of the coaches at the gym are nice and available to answer any and all questions you have. There are no bad egos at this gym and I've really appreciated the culture here. Everyone of its members understand that everyone is at different levels and are super respectful. Just learn the footwork and punching combos at your own pace and slowly begin to fulfill any goals that you have for yourself. Just know that everyone here is rooting for you! I'll always be thankful for what Shark Sports Boxing Gym has done for me, and I'm excited to hear of what it'll do for you!”

“Zab and his team care deeply about all their customers and bring you to the next level. Ive had an incredibly experience here and have leveled up significantly and got to cross off having an official boxing match off my bucket list. If you show up and give your hard work and dedication here nothing is impossible”

“Everyone here is so nice and you get a great workout for the price! I don't go to the morning Step class because it is expert level and the instructor doesn't really take the time to explain the steps because many of the people in the class have been going for a long time, but I LOVE the Zumba classes and the evening Step classes! Gabby is so nice and I love how her class is beginner friendly, but she takes it up a notch slowly so you really get a good workout. Gatziri is so FUN! The evening Step class is really fun too! Overall, the instructors are really energetic and you can tell they care and love what they do. I've only taken a few classes, but I am already seeing small results. Keep in mind, each class is an hour and you will be moving the entire time 💃💃 Note: - Classes are $5 each or membership is available for $50 monthly”

“I would recommend 360 to anyone who wants to learn self defense, or learn a new skill while getting in shape. Alan and Candace who teach the classes and owner the academy are EXTREMELY knowledgeable, patient, and pay attention to detail. I always leave having learned something new even if it’s a take down method or boxing combo that I’ve done before!”

“In January 2017, I wanted to regain my health. I used to go to a big gym, but it was intimidating to me when I decided to start exercising again. I was afraid to use some equipment and machines because I didn’t know how to use them correctly and was embarrassed to ask for help. The gym was also daunting. I felt people were judging me because I was not in shape. I also was looking for a place where both my girls, 16 and 8, and I could spend time doing an activity that not only supports our physical and mental health but, more importantly, FUN! Of all the places I researched, I found Fitness Factor. From the moment the girls and I went to look at the location to determine fit, the environment was immediately welcoming. Fitness Factor has all the equipment and machines a person needs to get in shape, but the gym’s culture keeps people coming back and attracts new people. This gym has people of all ages, sizes, and various fitness needs. He understands that we are at different stages with our health and exercise and that there is no judgment. He pours into all his clients and offers various resources and opportunities to be successful in our journeys! For example, he has had an exercise and nutritional fair, periodically offers educational sessions on nutrition, and offers opportunities to participate in hikes and other activities. Everyone at the gym ends up getting to know each other and becomes supportive of each other. It is a beautiful, blended family. We motivate, celebrate, and continuously challenge each other! There are not enough words in the world to express our love, respect, and appreciation for the entire Fitness Factor family!”

“The balance between challenging, fun, affordable and a rewarding workout is found at Suda Fit. Their warm and friendly staff will guide you through the workouts while keeping them interesting each class. My girlfriend took me there against my will and it only took one exercise for me to realize that I needed to commit and continue going as many days as possible. Seeing my shirt drenched in sweat at the end of each class is very rewarding.”

“This is one of the best, most consistent Yoga studios I have gone to over the years and have had a membership for almost 2 years now and will continue to come back. It's fun, every class brings a different vibe and has different work outs and music. All of the instructors are wonderful. Convenient parking structure right next door. Highly recommend.”

“Yeah, a yoga studio near WISH elementary school! It opened in September 2022. Chris and Kim Ohno did a great job converting the former pizzeria into a yoga studio. My first class there went well. It was a good mix of breathing and exercising in Chris’ morning yoga class.”

“I moved to LA back in January and stumbled across the Inspire team during a morning walk where I saw one of their Sunday morning classes taking place. I had been looking for a gym and was intrigued because I had wanted to start a routine focused on intervals or circuits with a group. Needless to say, that is exactly what Inspire does and I was hooked on day 2. Not only was it a phenomenal workout that was less than an hour long, the staff were extremely friendly and made you feel right at home. Each trainer brings their own flair and I love that they offer a multitude of sessions throughout the day so I can fit in a session nearly every day around my busy schedule. Additionally, they do a lot of work behind the scenes so that each person gets individual attention to whatever extent they desire. You really feel like a valued member of their community when you join the gym. I couldn't say enough great things and I've only scratched the surface. They also do individual training sessions, meal prep, weekly hosted events, and more. Many of these extra services I have not chosen to take advantage of, but I think it's great that they take a holistic approach on helping people achieve whatever their fitness goals may be. I take pride in attending and supporting this gym and I guarantee that you will too!”

“I grew up at Veterans. On of the cleanest most open parks you can get. A very nice skatepark, basketball courts and baseball diamonds. I hold some of my most precious moment at this park I literally grew up from a little kid playing all sports and this park made me into the athlete I am today. A great park to go to. Defefinitly reccomend.”
