“I am a class of 2012 alumni from Barfield Elementary School. Their hardworking staff is amazing and the environment in which your children are in is very safe and fun. The education curriculum is outstanding. I enjoyed my experience at Barfield from preschool to sixth grade. I'm proud to say this is where it all started. In conclusion, I recommend this school for all children in the general vicinity. It is a great school for young ones to start there education. I love Barfield!”

“I attended Betty Plasencia from 1977 to 1983. Back then the school's name was Cortez Elementary. I remember jumping the fence during recess and lunch time and going to the corner store to buy candy. I remember all the kids loved to kick the red balls over the fence and on to Temple Street. They put a stop to that after one of the balls landed on a TA's head and knock her out cold. How I missed my old elementary school days. - Guillermo Quezada”

“Fine school with excellent teachers. Some of the Safety personnel don't really look after the kids and go off of what they are told. Overall a good location.”

“The teachers are amazing and so thoughtful. Our 5 year old son started about 1 year ago after we moved cross country and they couldn’t have been more accommodating or welcoming of him and our family. In his 2nd year they continue to raise the bar with consistency, care and education and we’re so thankful for Lighted Window and all their teachers and staff.”

“Victoria's online classes, yoga videos, and community yoga pop-ups are all fantastic. Her fitness philosophy is approachable, fun, and straight up effective. As an instructor, Victoria is accommodating and attentive, and as a human, she is purely genuine. Her online program (which I started mid 2020) changed my entire relationship with exercise and I am so grateful. Could not recommend her or her content more!!!”

“Great pre-K experience! Our daughter loved her year at Good Shepherd. She gained so much from her peers and created a little family with her classmates. Community and families create a welcoming environment. Excellent at communicating and following safety measures. Lots of involvement and information by using thorough and easy to use apps. The staff is very engaging.”

“I first went to this space as part of a soft opening meditation session on a Saturday morning and it was so great to be amongst community. I had initially taken an online meditation series with Armen in February and it was a powerful experience to dedicate two mornings a week for four weeks on heightening sensory awareness and concentration. It's evident that his years of facilitating and somatic work shines in his virtual teachings and in real life. Having done four sessions of somatic work and his meditation sessions I highly recommend his healing work that is grounded in his solid knowledge of science and anatomy. He is an embodied practitioner and teacher and I look forward to more in person sessions.”

“My four kids all attended Rancho Co-op and it was a wonderful experience for them, and myself as a parent. Rancho is more than a preschool. It's a community. The parents become friends as the children are building their own friendships. The school is focused on play-based learning and helping kids develop extremely important social and emotional skills. We loved our time at Rancho. For those families that want and have the time to have an active role in their child(ren)'s early education, co-op preschools are a very rewarding experience. Rancho offers: 1) parent education opportunities, 2) a tight-knit community of children and parents with similar parenting styles, 3) the ability to help make decisions that affect the school, 4) knowing how your child spends their day at their "home away from home", 5) an above average adult-to-child ratio My kids and I are better people for having gone to Rancho. I highly recommend it.”

“This is a phenomenal preschool that combines a caring, creative staff with excellent facilities. There is a focus on learning by doing and being outside. Kids are encouraged to be imaginative and creative. Christ Lutheran truly nurtures the preschool child socially, emotionally and intellectually. All 3 of my preschool age children have been lucky enough to attend.”
