“This school is amazing. Both my children went here and we had wonderful growing experiences both with the school and the community. Once they graduated, my kids were so prepared and excited for Kindergarten. LFNS offers so much support through the co-op community, my children and I have made friends for life. The kids have fun, learn to communicate with each other, and learn basic skills which they can easily build upon for years to come. Ms. Marion's direction of the school is amazing and thoughtful, and the assistant teachers have also been there for years and are so kind and caring. There's lots of involvement like a weekly workday and monthly parent meeting, but that creates such a close knit community where the parents know all the kids names, and everyone is trusted and hardworking. The school has been around for decades and it's a very special spot!”

“My eldest daughter attended this elementary school, my two youngest children are doing it now, from my point of view it is the best school in the area. Teachers are very dedicated and responsible in their work and in giving adequate attention to their students. The school is safe, no one can enter if you do not have a permit from the principal's office.”

“Nothing but great memories, loved walking to school up Woodley each day. I attended Gledhill from 1963-1969. I have great memories of many wonderful teachers, but Miss Miller stands out the most. She played guitar and we sang each day in class. She also read out loud to us and told great stories. She was a fabulous teacher in all respects. She knew how to inspire her students to work hard yet have fun each and every day. I remember always doing extra credit projects so I could sit in the front of the class, it was very cool!”

“My family has been part of the MCW community for about four years. My son attended from ages 2-5 and my daughter (3) has attended for one year. My kids were both in the little kid room and in the big kid room with Ms. Valerie. We like the school so much that we commute everyday about 1 hour to attend. This school is a great fit for my family's needs. They include the following: #1: Affordability. The school is about half (or even less) of the price of schools that my parent friends send their kids too. Granted, this school doesn't have all of the bells and whistles of these other schools (e.g., daily updates/photos of your kids, fancy playground equipment), but those things aren't important to us (and we don't have to take part in never ending fundraising either). #2: Sanitary environment. My children rarely get sick. The rooms are spacious and the school is not overcrowded. #3: Diversity. My kids' friends are from backgrounds that are different from their own in many ways, which is great preparation for the diversity of elementary school and beyond. #4: Flexibility. The staff has been very accommodating with various situations that have arisen (e.g., starting and stopping because of travel for work, etc.). This is not a fussy place; we've had no problems getting our needs met. But perhaps most important is how much our kids (especially my daughter) have loved going here. My daughter is excited to go to preschool and doesn't want to leave on most days. She talks incessantly about the kids in her class, and loves them all (and her teachers Ms. Valerie and Ms. Emily) dearly.”

“El Camino Real High School has an number of things going for it. Wrestling as an inter-schollastic sport is one of them. Although some of the students who don't like following rules may disagree, this program under Coach T. Fischer has excelled for decades in helping to build the lives of the young men on the team. Anyone interested in competing for championships; improving as a person; developing character that will stay with one for the rest of their lives, need look no further. Other of the schools build their team through recruiting kids who can provide ready-made points in the finals. Instead, El Camino has focused on the kids who have gone their for four years and learned to compete both individually and as a team. Anyone joining the team who sticks with it for four years will never regret the experience down the road. Still, the Coach will allow anyone to come in to compete for a spot, even if they just moved into the area. Overall, this is the best wrestling program in the Los Angeles City School system and as good as any private school system around.”

“By far the best place to get your Exposed Firearm Permit. I was looking for a place to get the training done. I traveled from Bakersfield after seeing all the excellent reviews that Luna Security Training Academy has. I contacted Luna and she was the most helpful, knowledgeable, and helpful person I have ever dealt with. She explained the whole process to me and went above and beyond to work with my schedule. I am a truck driver, so I only had certain days I could come by. It was an absolute pleasure working with Luna and staff. From the classroom training/testing, to the firing range. I can thank all of your enough for all your help. Thank you so much for everything. I would give this place a 10/10 stars. Whether you need your guard card, exposed firearms permit, or anything in between, do not hesitate to choose Luna Security Training Academy. They will not let you down.”

“My partner and I have been coming here since November and we couldn’t recommend this studio more! We had no ballroom dancing experience prior and we are so happy we started lessons here. Andrea, Renzo and all the teachers are wonderful! Everyone is so enthusiastic and kind. They are patient and skilled teachers, and you can tell that they love what they do!”

“Scott is not only insanely knowledgeable of his craft and how to verbalize and teach it to anyone, he’s also charismatic and down to earth which was a big factor for me. Very quickly I went from going to guitar lessons, to playing guitar with a friend. I would recommend him to anyone at any level in a heartbeat.”

“We feel so fortunate to have found James when our kids were just starting piano lessons. He truly sets a foundation for a lifelong love of and understanding of music for them. My younger daughter would stand by my son's piano lesson just to listen to James and asked to start lessons with him well before I would have given her a formal lesson. She was so excited to have her time with James. He has an amazing way of connecting and truly inspires. We have also met and worked with others in the studio of teachers he has brought together. Ryan now teaches guitar to my 11 year old. He is not only learning how to play the guitar but having great conversations about music, laying down tracks and most importantly creating a learning space my son is excited for every week. We love the music in our home, the musical community James creates through his salons and recitals and the confidence and joy we are seeing in our kids as they grow their abilities on the piano and guitar. We recommend James and his studio so highly for anyone looking.”
