Sky Campground

Great camping spot. We stayed in number 3. Number one is the only one that I would avoid. It's practically right on the trail.

Beautiful campground! Site 11 is private with spectacular views.

Easier to book then Coastal and wildcat. Protection from Coastal wind. Water and vaulted toilets. Site 3,4,5 are very small. 1 and 2 have less privacy but Sky trail is not heavily trafficed and you can't beat the open Vista though... However, it is possible to smell the toilets in the evenings when the wind blows from ridge to see ????

Really nice campground with amazing view! The camp sites are mostly private enough, clean and have a grill and food locker (a lot of wild animals are walking around during the night and looking for food) but be prepared for 1,5 mile hike uphill to this campground.

This is a great campground for beginner backpackers or when you just feel like taking a short route. It was so easy that weight was no concern. Of the campgrounds in pt reyws, i think this ones sites and facilitjes are among the best, however the only challenge is that its far from the ocean. It has great views and private sites and is perfect if you plan to hang around the site. Site 11 probably has the best view but no shade and it's a little smaller than some of the others.
