“This place has great food at very affordable prices! Never had a bad meal here in all the years they have been around! Want food that vegans, vegetarians, and everyone else can eat? This is your place! There are soooo many options, you won't get bored. They are also happy to work around any food allergies or sensitivities you may have. Breakfast is also served all day! Their new spot is great, plenty of room inside or outdoors to sit and enjoy your food. Or you can get it to go. They are also really great on the limited use of plastics! Food comes in paper bags, they have glass bottle cokes available, napkins and containers are recycled plastic. The only plastic in my meal was the cup the ketchup came in.”

“I’ve live in SoCal for almost 6 years, originally from Texas. Really miss home sometimes and have been looking for something to give me a taste of it. This is 1 of 2 places I e found that could stand a chance in Texas BBQ competitions. The young lady that took my order was super welcoming and had service with a smile, kind of felt like that southern hospitality feel while I waited on my to-go order with a beer. The view outside is nice as well. The food, delicious. I have found my new spot to grab some beef and brews. The other spot I found, is about 2 hours away. Glad I stopped by, can’t wait to go back.”

“We had dinner at this Local Sunset Beach Bar and Kitchen, I had the special of the night an open faced short rib sandwich with an egg on top, it was super yummy, cooked and prepared perfectly and crowned with an egg you can't go wrong with this plate of food. My wife enjoyed the pork chops, well seasoned and perfectly cooked with a side of root veggies . A couple of cocktails and a piece of Japanese cheesecake finished of the meal perfectly! A walk on the beach as the sun was setting was the perfect end to a wonderful evening!”

“Absolutely the best crab legs in town! King Neptune's has the appearance of a dive bar, inside and out, we most likely would not have eaten here but we were invited by a couple that we were chatting with at breakfast so we joined them for dinner and totally enjoyed it. We were advised that the best crab legs in the area were at king Neptune's , we ordered 3 legs and some sides, the legs were amazing, so tasty, perfectly cooked. I am basing the five star review on the crab legs alone, it may be a dive bar but the legs were as good as any you could find in a five star restaurant!!!”

“Went on a Friday night around 6pm. The wait was about an hour, I don't know if they take reservations. Once seated (outside area in the tent) warmed with heat lamps and beautiful ambiance with lights, we were greeted right away and drink orders were taken. We had bottles of wine so my friend paid a $10 corkage fee and we were given glasses. The appetizers were delicious! We had the bruschetta and mozzarella cheese garlic bread with marinara sauce for dipping. The dinner plates are plenty for sharing. I had the shrimp scampi and my friends had the penne with pesto, lasagna with sausage and the spaghetti with marinara. We all got to go boxes. I will definitely go back.”

“Nice views. Plenty of sand as far as the eye can see. This is not a typical sunbathing beach. Still, a lot recreation is to be had here. The parking is ample. Crowds were not an issue in the mid-week. Definite must see if you are in the area.”

“So good!!! I love that they have traditional pho but also a variety of dishes you don’t see at most pho places. Like juicy dumplings , pork belly , garlic noodles...The chicken curry is hearty comforting and delicious ! We went back later that week ! New favorite restaurant in sunset beach .”

“Place has been here for years and the ambience stayed the same. Great location and even greater food, especially the Crab Omelet, definitely a must try. Servers are just awesome. All Harbor House outlets basically have the same portfolio but this particular joint evokes a place lingering for ages where families get together for a hearty breakfast food any time of the day. “Absolutely love this small little restaurant there is 5 tables 1 Booth 5 tables at kind of a bar setting the restroom is clean and done in authentic Spanish tiles the colors of the restaurant is more Italian though they have cute little quaint stained glass windows it's within walking distance of the beach. Hands down best Italian food I've ever had. There's a little bit of parking and it's free parking.”
