We had an 8 pm reservation, being sat at a table that wasn't our favorite, not much of an ocean view unless you were on the outside balcony. We have an amazing dining experience from start to finish. The service and staff were amazing! Melissa, our waitress, is extremely professional and knowledgeable! If I could give more than 5 stars to her, I would. The food presentation and flavor were great. Wagyu beef is highly recommended. This is a place to go any time you want a great steak paired with excellent service. Not cheap but worth it.”

“A total gem of a find. Family owned with fresh ingredients and a friendly atmosphere. The garlic Edamame have a little kick but the flavor is great. I ordered the masago (smelt eggs). The portion was a little small, but the taste was good. I also tried the wonton poke, (Spicy tuna on a bed of seaweed on a wonton shell.) It too has a kick. So delicious! Last but not least was the salmon skin salad. Now, this wasn't on the menu, but I saw it on their website and they said they could make it for me. It is GREAT! I told them to put it back on the menu- it is that good.”

“First time I go to an in-n-out and it’s this clean! I don’t know if I was just lucky and walked in right after they had just cleaned it, but it was VERY clean. And obviously the burgers were yummy, as usual. The employees were very nice and smiley. FYI if you Waze the in-n-out it might bring you to a random spot on the street with no in-n-out, don’t get discouraged, the actual location not that far away, it’s about 3-4 lights away from where Waze brings you. It’s close to Manhattan Beach.”

“Came in late on NYE with a small group and had a great dining experience. The service was initially a bit slow. We seated at 815 and last call was supposed to be 845(pushed to 9). It was 825 and the server had not come back to take our order yet so we started prepping to build a large order in case we run in to the cut off time. When our server arrived she was super friendly and let us know that she would take care of us no matter the time restrictions, including alcoholic drinks. She said she would go back and make them herself if need be. The food was delicious!!! We ordered almost good variety of rolls for the table to share and they were all delicious. My favorite would probably be the Newport. Can’t wait to come back.”

Although there’s free parking, don’t park int he 15 minute loading zone (or the 5 minute loading zone) as the guards there will mark your tires and you may find a ticket on your windshield when you get back.”

“I came here on New Year's Eve which could have been an off night but it was not. I asked for a regular bowl, brown rice, with green onions, no veggies and half chicken half tofu. The prices for the proteins were the same and they were happy to oblige even though that combination was not on the menu. They made it up fast and it was delicious! The main reason I'm leaving this review even though I never do that is not only because they deserve it but because I absentmindedly forgot to tip. “This was definitely a hole in the wall vibe. The inside feels like you have been transported to the 70s. The food was also authentic and homemade. I ordered the chicken enchiladas plate. It was delicious, but the Verde sauce had some spice in case you can't handle that. My husband ordered the carnitas and rates it 7.5 out of 10 ten being the best he's ever had. We dug the food and atmosphere so will come again and try other dishes.”
