“So let me start by saying this, I LOVE TACOS. That and I love my brother who is no longer with us. His name was MANUEL. My brother, my hero. He loved tacos as well and was probably an even bigger fan than me. He started me off on my foodie journey and I hope I make him proud as I am about to review this place than I'm sure he would have enjoyed. I literally tried it because of the name being dear to my heart. Boy did I make the right choice! I ordered quite the meal (look at my photos) but it was all worth it. The potato with Al pastor was delicious and a dish I don't see served at a lot of dine in places this way. The taco de cuerito with the big tortilla? When I bit it I couldn't believe how delicious it tasted. Literally my mouth couldn't believe it. The tortillas taste unique, but in a good way. I love creativity and features like this make tacos great in my opinion. The rest of the tacos I ordered were just as delicious. The tripita tacos I ordered I asked for in a regular smaller tortilla but the flavor was just as big as my cueritos taco! The tripitas were crunchy not burned which is very rare! This is a gift! To make them just right and this place did it! I love the menu. Carnitas. All the meats you can imagine. Burritos. Tacos. Papas. I love a big menu and this place really will not disappoint with the variety - it's a must try. My favorite part of this experience though? The customer service. The girl that took my order was so savvy, she understood the menu, she explained the offerings and options with such patience with me being a new customer and all. The whole team there in the back seemed great as well and they seemed to be loving what they were doing. THIS makes the experience much better because it tells me as a customer that they are preparing your meal with care, love and culinary delight! I am going back next week and I am glad I discovered this place. I have not been impressed with food like this in a while but this place did it. You want to find delicious tacos that are not boring like what most taco places have become? This is it. Keep up the amazing work and quality!”

It doesn't look like much from the street but once you get inside this restaurant is special. All the staff here are incredibly friendly and really try to make your meal as amazing as possible. As for the food, this place makes me happy to get out of my comfort zone. I've tried things here I wouldn't normally try and everything has been amazing so far. This really has become my favorite restaurant. Everything is so good and they give you so much for your money which is rare these days. The Jasmine milk Tea was not as well as some others it was warm and tasted watering.Place was clean and well organized. The bathroom were clean besides the toilet. At first when I enter the place it smell like sweat but then after a little it smelled better. The person who attend us ,the cashier she was forgetful ,not focused and seem like she didn't know how to do her job. Other than that it was pretty amazing! I would recommend this place but need better cashiers! Ice cream was super delicious and wonderful. I am so going back here!”

“Decided to check out Michael’s for Sunday NFL, and we’re so glad we did! Enough TVs to see every game from every seat. The other patrons (many teams represented) were definitely engaged/good humored but not too rowdy (several families with kids were there). Our server Grace was AMAZING! Super attentive/friendly/speedy service despite it being a packed house. The food was fantastic as well. They also have a nice area for pool, air hockey, shuffleboard, and darts for those not interested in watching sports. So glad we found this local gem! Highly recommend!”

“We dropped in for Happy Hour and sat outside by the sidewalk. Camille, the bartender, made us a spectacular raspberry margarita!! We felt like fries so Sam, our great waiter, brought us the most amazing fries with aioli in America made by Chef Glenn! Every bite was heaven - so crispy on the outside and like soft pillows inside. “First time here and it's amazing!!! EVERYTHING was delicious. We split a Mrs. Knott's chicken dinner. It was the perfect size, even a little too much, for 2 people. We weren't able to finish it all. For ONLY $26, it came with their dinner biscuit rolls, (Caesar) salad, (chicken noodle) soup, 4 piece fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, roasted corn, and a slice of pie. The boysenberry pie is a MUST, obviously! The fried chicken was chicken to perfection and juicy. But I was in love the with the biscuit with butter and boysenberry jam!”
