“Good flavors, I had the Açaí Peanut Butter hand crafted bowl. All fruit topping tasted very fresh. The two ladies working the counter were welcoming and provided a good overall experience.”

Taste of India

Address: 8890 Warner Ave, Fountain Valley, CA 92708, USA

Restaurant

“Don't let the exterior fool you! It is really good! The owners are super sweet and hard working! My Husband likes it SUPER spicy so call ahead for a more homemade meal i.e. Vindaloo ♡ some dishes need more time to prepare. But if you want the usuals (popular) dishes that are mild or just want to try Indian for the first time, they have them ready and can help you decide. Their naan is AWESOME too!! My faves are the chicken curry, tandoori and Korma👌🏼❤”

Super Mex

Address: 17208 CA-1, Huntington Beach, CA 92648, USA

Restaurant

“Super Mex is a local Sunset Beach favorite (but I claim it as HuntingtonBeach), and once you visit the location on PCH and Warner, you will know why. It is a Mexican food favorite, with all the classic dishes done to perfection and made with consistency for over 20 years. We stop by just to pick up a large container of salsa and a large bag of their famous round tortilla chips that are served warm! Most of the staff have been there for years. Even with the change in ownership, the food stayed consistent and delicious! Super Mex is one of our favorites!”

TOGO'S Sandwiches

Address: TSU, 800 N State College Blvd #121, Fullerton, CA 92831, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant Store

“It's always busy at this location but you can't blame them if the line is long, there's just so many students and their food tastes great! Plus I love that it's busy, it means their ingredients are always kept fresh. Plus I use the Tapingo app to skip the line when I don't feel like waiting. Always have lunch here after class! I HIGHLY recommend their SANTA FE WRAP.”

Poke Hearty

Address: 3501 W Moore Ave G, Santa Ana, CA 92704, USA

Meal delivery Restaurant

“Note: This place does not have a typical storefront in which you can dine-in. What they do offer is pick-up/local delivery. As of 04/25/2018, they provide free local delivery between 10:00 AM-2:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Portions overall are very generous - the bowl is filled to the brim. I like that they have a variety of toppings and can appreciate the fact that they also offer fruit toppings (like acai dragon fruit, mango, etc) which is rather different from what I usually find at other poke joints. I've done both pick-up and have had them deliver locally - with each instance being consistent in quality and service. I encourage giving them a try and not paying too much mind to a website that looks a tad dated - I assure you that the quality they provide is superb.”

Daphne's

Address: 13250 Jamboree Rd #113, Irvine, CA 92602, USA

Restaurant

“First Time here at this location Our group consisting of 5 adults and 11 kids enjoyed the Sunday "Kids Eat Free" promotion. After $26, our family of 5 were fed. Typically, we enjoy more mom and pop places. There are some really great authentic Persian and Mediterranean restaurants out there but we chose to check out the promotion with our large loud group of kids! The service was good. Food was ok. Restaurant and restrooms were clean.”

Crazy Fish Grill - Seal Beach

Address: 12420 Seal Beach Blvd, Seal Beach, CA 90740, USA

Restaurant

“They do a variety of seafood plate and they’re delicious. I think the Hawaiian plate was really well made and the flavor went well together. Lobster roll feels like putting lobster on the bread but the flavor didn’t quite mix well together. It’s good but could be better! Tacos were awesome. Overall, great seafood place but the amount of seafood was about the same as some other restaurants that cost less than this.”

Thai Paradise Restaurant

Address: 3551 Camino Mira Costa # B, San Clemente, CA 92672, USA

Restaurant

“This is a cute little Thai restaurant across the street from the Sprouts and Home Goods shopping center. I love their Tom Kha Gai/Kai here because the broth is on point!”

Charo Chicken

Address: 1170 Baker St # G1, Costa Mesa, CA 92626, USA

Restaurant

“Food: I got the 3 piece meal with Charo rice and black beans. I chose the BBQ sauce. Delicious and moist chickens and the side were yummy. The BBQ sauce was tangy and was a perfect choice to smother the chicken in. Service: The staff was friendly and helped me choose my items. Place was also clean. Final word. I got the 3 piece meal for $15...but it does not include a drink. Should though for $15.”

The Boiling Crab

Address: 13892 Brookhurst St, Garden Grove, CA 92843, USA

Restaurant

“Took my mother and brother to check it out. We got there at opening and there was a line. Once the joint opened, it filled up, and stayed full. We ordered the peel and eat shrimp, it was on point. The Dungeness crab and Blue crab weren't live (out of season I guess) They were still flavorful but not ultra fresh. The crawfish were out of season so I didn't order any. If you do, get the whole sha-bang, it's the way to go. The spot is a good one. The service impeccable. The flavors all there. It's a must try. Been coming here for years and have many fond memories. This location doesn't not disappoint.”

J Sushi Orange

Address: 352 S Main St, Orange, CA 92868, USA

Restaurant

“First Timer! My friend brought me & she used the words ‘inexpensive & quality’ in the same sentence which is my favorite for sushi. We were seated & greeted immediately. I love when you walk in & you are greeted with a smile, it makes such a big difference for me. We ordered two miso soups which came out almost immediately & 3 rolls which were thick & beautiful. Sometimes when you go to ‘inexpensive’ sushi spots the rolls are really small but here they were beefy. We got full with three rolls surprisingly. Definitely will be coming back! It’s by the Outlets of orange & Main place which I like because I don’t like mall food. Parking: was able to find parking but I can see the layout of the lot being an issue if it gets really busy.”

Lardas Systems Inc

Address: 19350 Goldenwest St, Huntington Beach, CA 92648, USA

Restaurant

Las Brisas

Address: 361 Cliff Dr, Laguna Beach, CA 92651, USA

Restaurant

“Las Brisas is an excellent choice for dinner. The grounds are impeccably kept with sweeping views of the ocean and much of Laguna beach. We walked into a very pleasant hostess who was quick to find us a table outside to enjoy the view. The food was superb. I had the Halibut Veracruz. It was seared to a perfect golden crust and delicately seasoned. The fish was served on a bed of rice with a phenomenal tomato sauce. The entire experience was pleasant and so enjoyable. If you are in Lafuna Beach and looking for new a place to eat, I recommend Las Brisas.”

Mezzo Calzones

Address: 440 Fair Dr #106, Costa Mesa, CA 92626, USA

Restaurant

“We have been hearing about this place and wanted to try something new so as pizza lovers we found ourselves venturing out and supporting a new local small business. They have been open since Feb 2023. I got the sausage and peppers calzone and mh husband the one with the mushrooms. The one with the mushrooms was very very salty but mine was very very good. Meatballs were the highlight of our meal. We both did combos that included a calzone, side and soda for about $13. Only downside is the pla e smelled overwhelming of cleaning products. I wish I could have smelled more of the cooking to really enhance the experience.”

Panda Express

Address: 18011 Newhope St Suite #a, Fountain Valley, CA 92708, USA

Restaurant

“The portions of veg/lo mein, 2 entree were way off. I received mostly huge pieces of vegetables, half portion of shrimp and it was covered in the beef entree and lo mein. Just very sloppy serving.”

One Star Pizza & Chicken

Address: 821 N Euclid St, Anaheim, CA 92801, USA

Restaurant

“Incredibly low key spot that stays open late, I think on weekends they’re open until 3 am! No fuss Korean hang out where you’ll find soju, beer, and all the greasy food accompaniments. Menu is pretty straightforward: fried chicken or pizza. We got introduced to this by a friend who’s a frequent visitor. Ordered a bottle of soju with a pitcher of beer to start, followed by an order of a large Bulgogi Pizza ($13.99) and a full order of fried whole chicken ($19.99) with our choice of half soy garlic and half sweet garlic*spicy. Free banchan here consists of a simple lettuce salad with a spicy mayo dressing, super addictive even with it looking as simple as it is. He even topped up the spicy mayo when we got halfway through with the plate! Pizza crust and cheese were delectable. Shout out to the Koreans with the extremely processed cheese but the ability to make it taste good in just about everything! I did find the bulgogi pieces on top to be quite dry, though, so I think next time we’ll be trying out another type of ‘Za. Fried chicken was yummy! Lightly battered with both flavors tossed in their sticky coating. The soy garlic was delicious and a flavor I'd totally recommend. The sweet garlic was ordered by the guys, and they had opted for spicy, which was way too spicy for me. Both said they enjoyed the flavors, though. Atmosphere wise, it’s chill. We were there on a Friday night at around 9 pm. The joint didn’t get too busy, nor did we feel rushed from the owners at all to leave and close the tab. I really enjoyed the vibe here. The food isn’t the most mind-boggling, but for our next night out when we’re wanting soju, this’ll be our spot!”

Garduno's Ristorante Italiano

Address: 298 E 17th St A, Costa Mesa, CA 92627, USA

Restaurant

“Finnaly had a chance to stop by and try this place. The service was amazing although the food did take a little long to come out but they were pretty slammed with to go orders. Forgot what I ordered but is really tasty and the calamari appetizer was a great start.”

“Great bakery with great staff! They also have some new matcha drinks at 85C that taste actually good! Highly recommend them! Much better than many if not most coffee shop matcha lattes. The bread here is quite soft and delicious too with many options! Highly recommend checking out in this area!”

Rubio's Coastal Grill

Address: 18517 Brookhurst St, Fountain Valley, CA 92708, USA

Juliana's Bakery & Restaurant

Address: 10441 Magnolia Ave, Anaheim, CA 92804, USA

Bakery Store Restaurant

“The food was amazing 👏🏾 and the customer service was decent. The place is small but has tables outside. I feel like a fair price, for 5 tacos de asada and a Burrito as big as my head with two meats was $24. Not too shabby. Overall, the restaurant felt welcoming and the wait for the food was not too long. Si quieren comer bien vangan aqui. Todos fueron muy lindos conmigo. Gracias.”

Cho Tam Bien 2

Address: 9906 Westminster Ave, Garden Grove, CA 92844, USA

Pick Up Stix Fresh Asian Flavors

Address: 7041 Yorktown Ave #106, Huntington Beach, CA 92648, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant Meal delivery

“It has been years since I went to Pick Up Stix. Several times I had a craving for Pick Up Stix but something got in the way. I got through with a little job. It was hard work but a nice paycheck. (well, for me) It also happened that I needed to stay in HB until evening because I have to pick up a laptop from a friend to DJ an event at Crunch Fitness tomorrow. (long story) My very first thought was: I have a little extra cash and have to stay in HB: I am going to Pick Up Stix! It is nice to report that it still tastes EXACTLY as it did years ago! My favorite meal here is now kind of a secret. I did not see it on the menu but when I asked, the very attentive staff member told me what it was called. She told me it was the House Chowmein or The House Rice. Depending on your poison, (mine is noodles) this dish includes shrimp, beef and chicken. I also ordered a medium Won Ton Soup abd a large drink. The prices haven't, suprisingly, increased as much as they have at most fast food places. Granted, prices were a little more than most fast food, of course, even before Covid, but the quality of the food balanced out the higher price. I had expected prices to be even higher now but they weren't. Another thing I have noticed is that both the portions and the quality of the food has suffered in most fast food places. The only difference I saw here in the portion was the side crunchy noodles. Not a big deal. Otherwise portions AND qualith were exactly as I remembered them. In addition, the unsweetened ice tea was excellent. (the best is at Panera but portions are small and prices high) Tea is a very big factor for me because I rarely drink sodas. This tea was perfect and refreshing. (not like the horrid tea I had at Burger King which, though a picture was shown of iced tea on the soda dispenser was actually made behind the counter and handed to me with NO ice! It also tasted awful, too bitter) Finally, the place was clean and, as a DJ I appreciated the music mix. It is rare that a place plays a song I do not not know, as well as some of the hits. The mix flowed despite the many genres represented. Good Pandora station or programming. All in all, I was extremely grateful for my delicious and relaxing reunion with Pick Up Stix!”

Lee's Sandwiches

Address: 12905 Harbor Blvd, Garden Grove, CA 92840, USA

Restaurant

“Lee’s Sandwiches is known for their Bahn Mi sandwiches and Vietnamese iced coffee. I chose to skip on the iced coffee and stuck with my usual: their #5 Thit Nuong / Grilled Pork Sandwich. It’s the one and only sandwich I’ve tried at any Lee’s Sandwiches I’ve ever been to, and I’ve grown to love it. Why change something that’s consistently good, right? Their Báhn Mi is mouthwatering and nostalgic for me - being that Lee’s was where I first tried a Báhn Mi sandwich. The crispy outer baguette with a pillowy-soft center that’s filled with savory meat (Grilled Pork for me), crunchy Do Chua (pickled daikon and carrots), fresh springs of cilantro, and spicy chopped jalapeños - now that’s what I call a sandwich! I was in the area and I had to come check this place out because this was the first Lee’s Sandwich drive-thru I’ve seen so I picked up one of their fresh baguettes to pair with my pasta dinner. It was great! Better than grocery store-bought because it was fresh right out of the oven. Pro-Tip: If purchasing their baguette, plan to use/eat it same day. This Lee’s Sandwiches location is nestled in Garden Grove on Harbor Blvd. - just minutes away from Disneyland. There is quite a bit of a wait in the drive-thru but it wasn’t too bad considering they were making my báhn mi made-to-order. You can also dine inside if you prefer. They have plenty of parking spaces at this location. You won’t have trouble finding a spot. Overall, I wouldn’t mind coming back if I needed a báhn mi fix. It definitely made my tummy happy!”
