“We were brought to this place because of their breakfast burritos. We understand the hype. Coming from SD breakfast burritos, let alone Mexican food in general, is a peculiar thing. Their breakfast burrito is a strong contender. The price did raise an eyebrow, but considering its Anaheim, and that the establishment is in the same building as luxury apartments the price factor wasn’t a deal breaker. In fact, they at least stepped up the presentation. As for everything else, the place vibes like a soft sports bar that happens to be open and serves breakfast. It is also peculiar that after the fact some of the biggest critiques are on their sandwiches—which we didn’t try nor what brought us over. For the most part the place was clean: Dining area, restrooms, and what we could see of the kitchen. Parking is a little confusing but manageable. Would definitely come back to try a sandwich and get a beer, maybe watch a game. Till next time! 👍”

“The Spearman family runs this and the sister Clubs (Monarch Beach and Racquet Club Irvine) and deserves every one of the FIVE Stars. Through the entire pandemic they have been so mindful of their members. Keeping us active and happy in such a dismal time. They kept their facilities open as long as legally possible just to give us the benefit of being able to get exercise. Pools have remained open throughout. Juniors programs and summer Camps are well organized with lunch and swim time included. League opportunities a-plenty. Their reputation in the PacSun and Hill n Canyon leagues is unmatched in the region. Match arranging rocks thanks to Mina who doesn’t just throw you in a match-she places you with people in your skill level. Try Vitali’s liveball, it’s a crazy calorie burn and addictive. Staff is wonderful, like family. Grounds and courts are well maintained. Anita pours some generous drinks at the bar. And the new remodel will bring a new re-vamped fitness center.”

“We checked out Mario's after spending the day out and about. Mario's didn't disappoint. Located in a strip mall type complex, Mario's has plenty of parking. The inside has very festive decorations and Mexican music playing. You are greeted by a friendly hostess and immediately receive chips and salsa when you are seated. The chips were very good and the salsa was even better. Not too mild and not too spicy.....the perfect amount of heat. Our waiter was very good. He was attentive and prompt and helped guide us through the massive menu. We ordered chips with cheese and beans for an appetizer. We had wanted queso but they didn't serve that. This appetizer did not disappoint! It was loaded (and I mean loaded) with cheese! The best way I could describe this was it was basically like eating a thin crust cheese sandwich. I ordered the two taco combo for my entree. The carnitas taco is served with pico on the side. The grilled fish taco is served with chipotle mayo on the side. Both are wrapped in tinfoil to keep them warm. They were very good, especially the fish taco. You get a generous portion of fish grilled perfectly. The refried beans were delicious as well. We also ordered a burrito. It was massive and the flavor of the sauce complimented the carne asada nicely. Our daughter ordered the kids cheese enchilada combo. She really liked it. If we're ever in the area again we wouldn't hesitate to return to Mario's.”

“I always pass by when purchasing a coffee from Donut Plus, today I decided to come here for my lunch. I ordered two carne Asada and 2 Carnita tacos 🌮 I got a flan and a 1/2 Coca Cola. It was $18.25. In total I tipped $1.75 so I paid $20.00. It was really yummy double tortilla tacos, the meat was yummy too. The salsas i got red and green the red is better gives you a good taste. Also the flan not my favorite but it was okay.”
