“This place is a great option for breakfast during the summer, especially if you want to escape the crowds. It's tucked away out of sight and had absolutely no wait on a Friday. It has a rustic, modern-hip decor, great drinks, GOOD coffee (stumptown French press - better than anything else in town), and a great menu. Service was excellent. Can't recommend this place enough. Just do it.”

“Cute venue tucked within a lodge, this pub threw us off a bit by only offering outdoor seating. Still, our servers accommodated our party w extra heat lamps since some of us weren’t dressed to eat entirely Al fresco. Nevertheless our party decided to tough it out and proceeded w ordering our dinner. For drinks we got a few martinis that were all prepared expertly. A little surprising given the pop up vibe the entire place gives. Then we proceeded w the grilled cactus appetizer. It was a little hard to comprehend the description even after asking our waitress, turns it comes as a 3 piece unit or like a poke bowl. We had it poke bowl style and was VERY delicious. Then our food came, which was a build-your-salad, steak plate, steak sandwich, and lobster roll. Our waitress was excellent by repeating our order to us, which was brilliant since we had ordered a rather complex salad. Everything came together, presented beautifully, cooked wonderfully. The only pause was that our steak was more medium well then medium. Not too much of a big deal since it was getting a bit darker and grilling outside gets tougher w less light. Aside from that, our meal was excellent. Def a place worth many repeat visits.”

“Awesome! It's a very cute, little family owned restaurant. They have lots of vegan options. Had their tofu bowl and the creamy salsa dressing was amazing. We also got roasted vegetables and tomato soup. All the three turned out to be great. The people at this restaurant were very kind. They only have outdoor seating but I don't think you would want to sitting indoors. Also, ask for their daily specials!”

“My first time in lake Tahoe and Christy hill was my pick for my one-year anniversary with my girlfriend and we were not disappointed at all! We unfortunately were running late and were still seated in the best seat to view the sunset of Lake Tahoe. We started with a goddess salad and chicken liver moose which came out fast and fresh with a lovely glass of rose for both of us with a hibachi fish with some thin crisps and a delicious pork belly with a cooked watermelon on the bottom which was interesting. Finally, our server was nice enough to provide us with a chocolate bread pudding with whipped cream and a candle for us. 5/5 experience and a great way to end the weekend trip. I highly recommend this place as they have a great menu for any occasion.”

“Staff was super friendly! They greeted me almost right away and I was the one that had to ask for a minute before ordering. They were accommodating to the mods I asked for (added tomato). I was that one odd person ordering breakfast for dinner, but my order was ready pretty quickly. The bread was toasted to perfection and I really enjoyed the meal! I noticed quite a few bad review in the past, but seems to me they’re trying to grow and improve the experience. Keep up the good service!”

“I LOVED this place! Such a cute, cozy place to stay! The beds were insanely comfy, the staff was so friendly and welcoming and breakfast was included and really great! Not to mention the view is amazing! Right on the lake we enjoyed watching the sunrise and would come back to the area just to stay here again!”

“Epic BBQ, and the best hot wings I’ve found on the north shore so far. Ribs & catfish are my other favorites. Turkey a little dry but just throw some more sauce on and you’ll be good. Peach cobbler is the best I’ve had since my grandma passed away, so I always have to get another serving to take home and have another day when it’s on the menu (their menu of sides rotates, and when something sells out it sells out)… Definitely still one of my favorite places to eat on the north shore after living here the last couple years and trying most of what’s available around here.”

“We stayed here during covid after finding it on Airbnb. It was a great location but couldn’t make the most of it due to covid. For example: the hot tub was closed. The bathroom had dirty shower curtains. But the location was great for the price due to covid. Super close to the lake and all the restaurants in north Lake Tahoe (Tahoe city).”

“We were visiting the area and the four of us were craving Asian food. We were skeptical about this place given the reviews and well, the location since it is a touristy place. It was an interesting experience putting in the food order in person, but when we went back to pick up the food the staff was friendly (complete 180). The food was AMAZING!!!!!!! It was unexpected, but the flavor was on point and everything was yummy. We ordered about 10 different things. Our least favorite was probably the fried calamari. Everything else was really good. Be prepared to pay for white rice which is unusual from where we were from, but it was good nonetheless. Will be back the next time we are in Tahoe!”
