“We only visited for dinner at the restaurant, since we were staying elsewhere. The menu and atmosphere was a delightful change from every place else in the village. I'm sure there's an interesting backstory to the inn's name, but it doesn't feel in sync with the sophisticated menu. We enjoyed Caesar salad with delicate anchovies, butternut soup that was thankfully more savory than sweet, a perfect ribeye, and even some homemade ice cream. Decent wine selection. The staff was attentive without being intrusive. Deserves a return visit.”

“We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. We stayed in the forest side cabin. The only downfall to that. When you are on the beach, there are no restroom so it’s a long walk back across a busy street. No trash cans, and very limited chairs close to the water line but a lot of chairs and umbrellas up in the beach further up. On the forest side, it was peaceful and quiet BUT we noticed the workers live in some of the cabins too, so they are not as nice and neat on the outside and a few junk piles around. That side of the property could be a little nicer. Our cabin area was great, lots of Cobb webs in the room, ceiling, corner and some spiders which I just cleaned with a broom. Wonderful customer service was wonderful, easy to communicate and very accommodating. The young kids working the water equipment work extremely hard and are super helpful.”

“Charming yet spacious cabin situated on Bear Creek minutes away from Alpine base with Shuttle Service on weekends. Enjoy stretching fireside, stargazing from the hot tub, or sharing a family meal at a large format dining table. The kitchen is well organized and stocked, bathrooms are well appointed. It seems they have thought of everything a guest could need from poop bags, dog towels, flip flops for the hot tub, small format desks for those working remote, and a television and speaker system. The perfect mountain escape in a quite neighborhood just off the main drag.”

“The house is exactly as pictured. However there was no breakfast, maybe that was changed because of covid...but there is a kitchen with all the nicest fixtures and equipment if someone was hosting. The only negative is that the propane tanks werent filled so we couldnt enjoy the out doors at night and we didnt get the room we booked even though we where only 1 or two guests at the whole house. Other than that, beautiful house.”

“Its a beautiful lodge in a gated community. I don't know what the standards are for being able to use the lodge and lift but I imagine you have to live there. Today we noticed the roof of the lodge is a giant half pipe wouldn't that be fun to shred. All in all I'm lucky enough to work in Mardis has a beautiful place”

“We were stunned by this place. The entire area is beautiful, well kept, and truly a remarkable place to be. We spent our 10 year wedding anniversary here in cottage 2 and fell in love with the place. The hosts were extremely friendly and very helpful during the entire process and even through the concerns of the Mosquito fire that was on going. I am very glad I found cedar crest cottages, it will be a regular place for us now. The cottage was stunningly beautiful and clean. Amenities were well thought of and they provided coffee upon our arrival (bag of ground coffee). Definitely some of the best coffee I have ever had. I feel like I could write pages about this place on how amazing it was. It gets 10 stars out of 5.”

“We just stayed here last weekend and absolutely loved it! The location is awesome to the resorts. There are frequent shuttles to take you to the main village, but we found that it was just as easy to walk. It was only about a 10-minute walk (we have snowboarding boots so easier to walk in.) We had a full kitchen and separate living room, which was so nice! If we were more prepared, we would have bought groceries on the way into Tahoe. The little market in the village is super expensive. The hot tubs (3 of them!) and heated pool were lovely after a day on the slopes. We frequently visited the coffee bar in the lobby. There are also a lot of activities that this hotel puts on, like yoga, snowshoeing tours, etc. We didn't make it to any of them, but they sound really fun. This is an awesome hotel and we will absolutely stay there again! Also, the staff is SO NICE!”

“I have lived in Granite bay mobile home park a little over a year now. I had relocated from another state and had difficulty getting a new place and making the transition into my mobile home. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and how welcoming Sandy Garcia, the property manager made me feel and went extra links to make the paperwork and the move-in quite easy for me. It has been a very comfortable and warm year for me living here. There have been no problems with the people that live in the park, everyone is pleasant and very friendly. The few issues I have had regarding my trailer and fix ups I have taken to Sandy and she has always helped me resolve what it was I was asking about with warmness and a caring attitude. Sandy is always on track and makes sure the park is clean and a nice place to live in. I have only had one other property manager in all the years where I have lived in a community that has gone the extra mile and helped me and others and made living in a place so nice. I would recommend this park and the way that it is run by Sandy and Granite Bay properties Inc. to anyone, there are a few kids that live in the park also that are respectful and well mannered. It’s nice to be able to live here and not worry about things such as safety & cleanliness and that you can take things to her and know that they will be resolved in a timely and wonderful manner. Five stars!”

“Quaint shops and elegant condominiums abound at this world class ski resort. The optics were held there in the early 1960’s and they have nicely blended architectural styles of yesterday and today. A lot of the shops were closed, in assuming because I visited off season on a Saturday.”

“Gold Hill Gardens is the wedding venue that dreams are made of! Mike and Cindy were fabulous to work with from Day 1, and with every interaction I was left more and more impressed with their dedication, passion and kindness. The B&B and property are stunning - with views of the rolling hills, impeccably maintained grounds, and so many special, fun touches (the chess set, hammock, fire pits, gorgeous pool, beautiful tent, gazebo, tons of cool decor to use, and so much more). Our wedding party rented all 5 rooms at the B&B for the Friday and Saturday night of our wedding, and it was perfect! Our family from out of town was able to start their stay early, which made the entire week so smooth. The rooms were all beautiful and immaculate, and the breakfasts were delicious! On the day-of, the ladies got ready in the beautifully appointed bridal salon, and the guys got ready in one of the rooms on-site, which worked great. The venue was gorgeous, and the ceremony flowed perfectly into the cocktail hour and into the reception. When the evening was over and the guests had left, we were then able to relax with our family by the fire pits, eating leftover s'mores and reliving the night. Gold Hill Gardens has everything to make your big day feel spectacular and elegant, while maintaining an intimate and relaxed vibe. Mike and Cindy, you have made something truly special with Gold Hill Gardens. Not only have you created the perfect setting, but we left feeling so taken care of; your kindness and preparedness could not be more appreciated. We can't wait to visit again soon.”

“As a family with 2 teenagers it is hard to find a place that everyone loves equally, and we had a fantastic trip at the Red Wolf Lodge. Even with spring skiing conditions, the proximity to the slopes and restaurants, as well as the hot tubs and sauna, made for a great week for adults and teenagers! My sons have already asked when we can go again!”

Ski valet is conveniently located on way to Gondola.”
