“We had an amazing time tonight. The horses are well feed, hydrated, groomed, calm and content. It really bothered me when a person screamed out their car window that horses pulling a carriage is animal abuse. I have been around horses and other farm animals my whole life. Those beautiful clydes are VERY well cared for and even had nice trimmed hooves with horse shoes. The people were so warm and kind to us. They even let a little girl from the family before us ride up front. This was my mom's first time riding in a carriage and she had an amazing time. The village was lit up and we even stopped to star gaze by the lake for a little bit and showed us Satern and Jupiter as they are overlapping eachother for the first time in about 800 years. It was the perfect Christmas season experience. Please do not be discouraged by some of these crazy comments made by selfish and stuck up people. They may not answer the phone like they work at some doctors office but they are very kind, thoughtful, and take very good care of their horses. Thank you again!”

“Such a great place to find the tackle to help catch you fish in big bear lake. They've helped me catch my first fish in big bear even my girlfriend caught her first fish at big bear lake! Billy and Josh just make it so much better with helpful tips and ways to catch fish at lakes in the San Bernardino mountains. The customer service is just phenomenal. Billy is just absolutely the nicest guy he's also so informative about trout fishing. Josh is so knowledgeable about bass and so kind he even gave me a lure for free from his own tackle box to help me.”

“This was an absolute wonderful experience!! My sister and I are visiting from San Diego with our daughters ages 6, 5, and 2. We did a private lesson and Beth was fabulous!! She total catered to our young girls and was the best teacher!! She's so patient, kind, and talented in her own artistic abilities. She's very knowledgeable about everything art and always has cool tips and tricks that helped our girls explore different ways of creating their canvases. Her paint studio was amazing and was fully stocked. This experience was one of the highlights of my trip and I can't wait to get home and hang all our canvases up in the house!!!! Highly recommend this as a must do in Big Bear!!!!”

“These men were beyond amazing. They showed up in the time they said they would, were extremely friendly and also helped calm us down from our panic (we were stuck in the snow). They were very patient and kind, and I couldn’t be more happy with whom came to help us! I wouldn’t want any service from someone else. I’m Keeping them in my contacts and will stay with their services (hopefully won’t happen again). These poor guys were getting calls from frustrated and angry people, but don’t forget that they’re doing the best they can in dangerous conditions. I wish I could remember their names! “My family had a pleasant and comfortable weekend at the cabin. We had all necessary kitchen tools for meals which is always so important for our family when vacationing. We enjoyed the layout of the cabin, especially since we have children who love to run around to different rooms. The location close to Big Bear Mountain Resort was so convenient. We didn’t use the shuttle system that transported people to the ski resort but pick up/drop off is right outside the cabin. Plus, there’s a great donut shop that is next door! The hosts were great and gave us so many good recommendations for walking around and sledding. Highly recommend and we would come back to this cabin!”

I was surprised by how good the service and prices were because I wouldn't normally expect it from a shop so close that its in the ski resort.The place has great prices and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I wish I gave this place a chance earlier because I usually stay away from stores like this so close to the resort, but they have such reasonable prices and friendly customer service so it's definitely worth checking out. “Fun bar at BBMR. Great service by friendly staff! I really liked the old name better. It used to be called the Big Bear Beach Bar! (Or the BBBB) I would encourage management to go back to the old name. A lot of history there :). The bar is in a great location with views of the Half pipes, jib park and a lot of the competitions. Great place for Apres Ski.”

“Two years ago I purchased a board, bindings and boots from this place (got a great deal as it was the end of the season)! I needed to return due to an issue with my binding (wear and tear). These guys are great! Not only did Megan assist me with getting new bindings, but she showed excellent customer service and went above and beyond to make sure I have everything I needed. Unfortunately, the bindings were the wrong size. When I returned to the shop the next day, I was assisted by Juliann, the manager. She was excellent! The store was super busy but she didn't hesitate assisting me and switching out my bindings and making sure I was a satisfied customer. Highly recommend this place for ski and snowboarding equipment (rental or purchase). I will be returning!”
