“My daughter and I both got massages from Chelsea, while visiting Big Bear Lake. My daughter and I both agreed that it was the best massage that either of us have ever had. She took her time and applied prefect pressure. The room was comfortable and smelled wonderful. The price was reasonable. “We were here for the Spartan races but I also was on the hunt for some unbelievable crystals and stones to use in a photo shoot. We found a very popular shop close to where we we’re staying and it was nice. But for what I was looking for, Gem’s of the West is absolutely the place to go. If you’re looking for some really beautiful and diverse gemstones and learn about the history behind the stones, please come to Gems of the West. The owner is an absolute sweetheart. He is a former teacher, military man and avid geologist. To that list you can definitely say he’s a docent of geology. The kids absolutely loved their experience there and I couldn’t have been happier! This is the #1 place in the area for sure.”

My kids loved the store and they had so many cool things to look at and of course buy for our stay in a cabin. Thanks for all the colorful 🎲!! We need more stores like this. “My Family and I stayed here during the summer and it was amazing. Overall the cabin was super spacious and perfect for large families to stay at. Both patios decks outside are great to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner with beautiful views. Lake, trails, and grocery stores were very close by so made the trip easier to go and come back to relax in the cabin. The pool table was a nice touch for a fun game here and there. Overall the experience was great and would definitely recommend for families to stay at this cabin. Looking forward to coming back in the winter!”

“We loved our stay here. A few things though. There were cracks in the walls of the bathroom. I could see the nails in the ceiling. There is an odd quarter round next to the bath tub with exposed screws. Not having regular TV is a big deal. If you don't have an Amazon account, you can watch exactly zero TV. Jason and his daughter were very helpful. Overall we loved our stay there. I found the place after watching the Magnolia DIY show. We will be back.”

“Came here with a friend reluctantly due to a less than satisfactory past experience at the Apple Valley location. I was surprised at how much better the staff conducted themselves and how much cleaner this store was despite how many customers they had. The overwhelming number of patrons(the majority of which were impatient and refused to wear masks) didn't seem to keep them from disinfecting and enforcing mask requirements. The wait was the only downside and even that could have been mitigated by requiring online customers to remain in their vehicles and have orders brought out to them. Vegetables were fresh and I'm pretty sure I got the last bread roll.🥖”

She definitely cares about getting the prescription right and your continued eye care. She makes the extra effort to make it so. Staff/front office, makes the same effort in their support. They are extremely helpful and kind. I love dealing with them all.”

“We stay at 760-1. Owner is friendly and helpful, provides clear access instructions. Cozy and nice condo with secure access. The condo is clean, two bedrooms, both with bathroom and shower. Free secure wifi internet access, large multi-media TV, washer and dryer etc. Location is walking distance to Lake. Great weekend get away.”
