“Looking for a beautiful San Diego beach with easy access to parking! This beach is perfect spot for sunbathing and relaxing in the sun! Carlsbad State Beach ⛱️ Quite, low key!”

“This location is great, it has a lot of options to do different routes for walkers and runners. The playground is great too for the kids to play afterwards. I cannot praise enough the teachers. Shelby and Ann are amazing! We have been dealing with some creepy guys in the last few months but the instructors always make sure to handle the situation the safe way. Only negative point is that there isn’t a way to work out there if it rains. Today the class got moved to alga Norte and it was a good (but not perfect) alternative.”

“Grass is dry and worn, but the dirt underneath is still better than the grassless gravel you get at some places. This is a spacious layout on a mild decline which is great. Some picnic tables and seating for guests. It's part of a larger green and we'll maintained park. My boy had a great time in both large and small dog enclosures. Will definitely be visiting again.”

“This was such a great find! Had lots of fun here, and they have bathrooms. There are tennis courts, a basketball court, plenty of bench tables, both covered and not, a playground, and a great view of the ocean. There's some paths to walk on but i didn't explore over there.”

“Really nice hike in the conservation area outside of San Marcos. We did the loop which was much better than the short out and back trail. The wildflowers were abundant and beautiful. The small waterfall was flowing and was very nice. The creek was full and the trail wasnt crowded. Definitely a morning hike as it gets hot.”

“Nice and spacious. Three different levels of play equipment for young and older kids. I used to go as a kid, now I can take mine. They had a blast. Parking isn't the best but there is more space on the sport side where the community center is. Where they have basketball courts and tennis courts. Lots of fun to be had.”

“We attended my nieces wedding at this very lovely location. It was a beautiful day and the grounds are spectacular. Enjoyed the little golf cart that took us to our location. All of the ceremony and reception sites were so beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This is a very special place and a perfect setting for weddings or events. Hearing the peacocks as we were leaving was fun.”

“Very impressed. Well maintained dog park. 3 areas for large, medium and small dogs. Seems to be newer. Ground has mulch instead of grass, which is softer on the paws and holds up very well. Fresh water dispensers in each section. Great place to take your pooch if you're visiting Carlsbad or nearby.”

“Great ball fields and superb swimming pools. This is a state of the art facility that can handle large summer crowds at the ool (no P) and busy soccer/baseball game days. The pool does have a lot of chlorine but probably necessary and there are great classes to ramp up you aquatic skill sets. No high dive too!”

“I’m out of town and was looking for a hike near my stay. I was expecting a real nature encounter (no cars visible, no road noise). This is definitely not a hike at all, it’s definitely just a walk. At the beginning of the trail, traffic is visible and city noise is at a high. It’s a busy walkway with lots of people. There’s a golf course on the side of it and you can access it through the trail. The trail had benches, trash cans, recycle bins, and pretty view of the lagoon.”

“The trail is 5 stars, very beautiful, however parking is a bit limited in the designated lots. There is a fair amount of street parking in the surrounding neighborhoods.”
