“I'm a teacher looking to get another classroom pet that will be a good balance of "wow" factor, easy to care for, cheap to feed, not too big, small footprint, has a kid-proof enclosure, and affordable. It also has to be semi self-sufficient due to weekends the school is closed. I've had reptiles for my entire life but hadn't dabbled in anything tropical yet. The store is making these beautiful terrariums for tropical animals, and I was sold. I had TONS of questions for Jesus, who diligently took the time to answer them all. We easily spent an hour just going over logistics. He showed me the options for equipment and animals, explained how everything would work, and was able to help me make contingency plans for various issues that might arise (as all teachers do 🤣) over the weekends or days I was out. I wanted to be as informed as possible so I could teach my students about their new pets. I was very happy and learned a ton, and I'm excited for my students to get to experience a mini ecosystem! I've been a customer of LLL since I was a child and am so excited they are still giving the best customer service 20 years later. “I was happy to find a drive-thru coffee shop right off the I-8 in what sometimes feels like the middle of nowhere. I was also happy to find out they’re a good coffee shop in what feels like the middle of nowhere. The sole employee early in the morning worked her tail off to cut down the line. She was very nice, personable, and patient. Their iced Mexican mocha with oat milk was a perfect compliment to their muffins.”

“This place just opened in the plaza next to seven eleven on mission. I believe it’s part of a chain of taco fast casual restaurants. There’s plenty of parking in there lot outside and there is also some outside seating set up under a tent. When you walk in there is cool music playing and neon lights by the restroom. You can see the cooks behind a glass wall putting together all the tacos and burritos from fresh ingredients. Their menu is fairly limited but it has all the standards. Also an extensive selection of juices and drinks. I got a Horchata that was really good and it was huge. They do not serve any alcohol . Just juices and bottles of soda. Tacos were all really good and we got them with everything on them. I will say we got the chicken and the carne Asada and both were pretty spicy. I like spicy so I enjoyed them but if you aren’t a spicy person maybe get the salsa on the side. Great addition to the neighborhood. Will be back for sure.”
