“Soooo good! The last time I was at the Ferry Building, I dipped next door's Acme Bread's scallion bread into Cowgirl's fresh sheep ricotta, while sitting on a bench looking out at the bay. How could one not be happy?”

“We were here for a private lunch event. The food was excellent, with unusual gourmet choices. The bread was delicious. The service was excellent. Even though the menu was pre-selected, they made allowances for individuals tastes/needs.”

“Gorgeous interior decor and wonderful places to sit inside the officers club area, if you order it to go. They also had a Japanese internment camp exhibit and rooms that you could rent out to work. The food was quite tasty, even with small portions. The burrito was quite a hefty portion, but the vegetarian tostada was smaller. And so were the crispy tacos.”

“Lamb burger, loved and crazy for a great lamb burger. Excited to find this place which is a meat store but on the side, you can order burgers and fries. Their burgers are made from dry aged meat. Loved exploring the ferry building. So many things to see and try. My best experience with lamb burger was in Vegas at Ri Ra Irish Pub in Mandalay Bay hotel but this is not bad. The meat was cooked to right temperature, the sauce was kind of tangy and spicy and has arugula with it. Grab a Hong Kong milk tea from "Out the door", a kiosk which is part of "Slanted door", makes a perfect lunch”

“We were there late on a Sunday night and it was just what we were looking for. A nice, clean , quiet (not sure it's always quiet, or you'd want it that way) place to plan our following days events. Good drink menu, beer, cocktails both standard and enticing. Limited but satisfying food selection. Very pleasant atmosphere to enjoy time with family and friends.”

“As this part of San Francisco doesn't have a Buffalo Wild Wings or anything of the sort, Original Buffalo Wings came up as a wings place according to Google Maps. It is a much smaller business but they do have a range of different sauces to choose from. Less ability to get a range of different sauces if you're getting smaller amounts, but the wings tasted relatively good still. It is a bit more out of the way if you're coming from San Francisco city area by public transport, but definitely doable by bus.”

“The Presidio Officer’s Club is a nice building rich in history (few people working there have any clue) and it has a little Mexican restaurant. I recommend participating in one of the San Francisco City Guides tours if you’re interested in learning more about the Presidio. The tours are free and depending on the guide you get, they are great.”

“One of my favorite places in the world, literally! The food is very good, not what you usually think of when you gi to a Mexican restaurant. The bar is amazing. One of the best tequila selections in the world. I've been visiting this place since 2001. The people that work here are amazing, and the friends I've made with other regulars will keep me coming back for many years to come!”

“Great cocktails. Great food. They dont pack the restaurant with as many people as they can. It was very comfortable. We weren't rushed out to make space for other people.”

“Absolutely an amazing place to visit in the Presidio. We came for dinner and sat at the kitchen counter - it's definitely the place I would recommend to sit. Quality of the food was awesome and the bass and snake valley strip was definitely the highlight for our group. For the volume of food you get and quality I would say its not overly expensive. Definitely recommend”

“Modern eatery with a touch of Americana. Great buffalo chicken sandwich and burgers on challah buns. The portions make the prices a solid value. Try the Split sweet potato fries with Parmesan cheese. Worth a visit if you’re looking a lunch spot on Russian Hill.”

“I really enjoyed the experience here. The staff was extremely friendly and the sushi was fantastic. I've never liked every piece of nigiri were we served at a restaurant so much. We thought it was great value relative to the other top-end places in town. Don't be too snobby for the hot sake. It's good!”

“The $0.25 wings on Wednesday nights are great. They had a few different flavors as well and they weren't little things either. The atmosphere was exciting. Seating can be a bit cramped and the music borders on being too loud but other than that, it was a great place.”

“Bootleg Bar & Kitchen is a wonderful place that has amazing drinks and REALLY good food. The workers are fun and very nice. People always seem friendly there and they have music, and huge tv’s to watch games. If you want to go someplace where you can have a drink and eat well. Go to Bootleg Bar & Kitchen! It won’t let you down!”

“Chase your winter blues away with some seasonal greens at Blue Barn. Always made to order, you get what you pay for. Which in his case, is a big fresh and delicious salad. Choose from a handful of chef designed ones or build your own. And fear not Sandwich lovers, they have a number of grilled cheese, with or without meat, and fancy breads. A great spot for healthy and fresh fast casual or takeout. I eat here weekly.”

“Only had the beer and if you are familiar with what they brew you'll know it's good beer. It is pretty expensive, $10 for a glass that I'm pretty sure isn't even a pint. Didn't eat but what was coming out of the kitchen smelled amazing.”
