“The girl that helped us out was very nice because hubby and I were looking at the tee shirts that were 3 for $14.99 and she asked if we needed help finding our sizes. We purchased 3, 2 for me and 1 for him. The tee shirts are very good quality and good for the price which ended up being $4.98 per tee shirt.”

“Absolutely fabulous! I signed up to talk everything about makeup with Chris, and I was not disappointed in the least. He had tips and tools galore! He simply creates beauty magic (and provides a fun, enjoyable time while you are in his chair). He is wonderful with any questions and super patient .... Don't walk to Chris Scott and Makeup Gourmet .... RUN!! Get an appointment .... you're guaranteed to walk away with new knowledge. If you can't make it to see Chris (which would be sad), definitely check out Makeup Gourmet's website. It's filled with how-to steps and best of all, you can order all of his products. I have ordered a few times already from his website, and the shipment comes quickly and in superb packaging. I hope to get into the studio again sometime soon ... but if I don't .... I can guarantee I will be a repeat online customer for a very long time. Thanks Chris!”

“Just attended a Birthday party and it was so personalized and the staff was so friendly and knowledgeable about the products. Couldn’t recommend this anymore. They closed the whole store for us for a few hours. So fun and amazing!”

“Highly recommend this shop. Chris and his team helped me with warrantying a Cervelo frame that had fractured at the chain stay. They were nothing but patient, and helpful throughout the entirety of the convoluted process. Top rate customer service, with good communication, expectation setting, and out come. By far the best bike shop I've seen in the Bay Area, and I've bought stuff from probably 8+ shops in SF and the peninsula.”

“It's hard to replace the original. The space is much smaller so the selection is smaller. But it's still a great selection. Parking is easy. The service is great.”

“Kind of small and crowded but given the location it's understandable. Also I found a table to sit down and eat very easily even though the line for ordering was long. The food is great and they even serve breakfast burritos in the afternoon. The proceeds go to park restoration and maintenance if I remember correctly”

“Great place for basics in the heart of the tourist district. Very clean and neat. We were happy to see a variety of wine, beer and liquor choices with very reasonable prices. Extremely helpful and friendly staff.”

“This is one of the coolest little stores ever. Browsing all the stuff in the store is an experience in itself. We went all the way to the Exploratorium one day, only to find out that hundreds of schoolchildren were taking a field trip there that day. We decided to only go through the store, but the experience was still worth it. The store has such an interesting selection of items.”

“Great atmosphere. This place is a coffee meets bar fusion. The decor is very nice. They got this moving artwork behind the bar that is ridiculously captivating. The mix drinks are made very well. Wanted to try most of them.”

“The Guardsmen Lot is definitely a place to get into the Christmas mood, and a fantastic place to buy your tree of any size. You can walk around the lot searching for your perfect tree of any size while sipping on a free beer or glass of wine. Oh and the best part? You never have to haul your tree, you can have it picked, carried, and tied to your car without lifting a finger. You can even have it delivered. What a great experience and all for a great cause. Loved the lot and will be back again for sure!”

“Tammy KNOWS BIKES. Not just bikes, but the HISTORY of bikes. She was great at helping me select the right vintage Schwinn for me. She has a nice selection of bikes right now, and if she doesn't have just what you are looking for, she can find it. ”
