Sushirrito

Address: 283 Lorton Ave, Burlingame, CA 94010, USA

Restaurant

“Had a dynamite sushi burrito here last week. It's on Lorton near Burlingame Avenue so parking is impacted by construction, but there's a big new garage a block away and never fills (top secret). Staff is super nice and lunch was perfect. Can't wait to go back!”

Falafel Tazah

Address: 780 Alma Ln, Foster City, CA 94404, USA

Restaurant

“This is hands down my favorite place to get food in the area. Everything is consistently delicious and honestly pretty balanced nutrition-wise as well. Not to mention great portion sizes. The service is also really friendly! I always recommend this place when I’m in the area with friends.”

Little Madfish

Address: 1021 El Camino Real, Redwood City, CA 94063, USA

Restaurant

“My family and I love this place. Sushi rolls are a pretty good portion. Price is okay not too expensive. The only reason I give it 4 stars not 5 is because both of my last visit my orders have not been inputted correctly. Either they did not put it in or the pit the wrong roll in, other than that it good. I will definitely visit them again”

Hangetsu Sushi

Address: 2810 Cabrillo Hwy N, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019, USA

Restaurant

“Eight of us had dinner and we all enjoyed our meal. The diversity of the menu was very good with a broad enough selection to meet most diner’s needs. We found the presentation to be the best sushi serving aesthetic we have had frankly the food was as good to look at as it was to eat. While the service was not fast the speed was acceptable. Our group had two areas which they could work on: 1) the staff was a little clueless on what to serve young children, this of course will be an easy fix when they study the options. 2) the order taking and food delivery was a little bit disorganized. Both of these issues are minor and I would recommend this as the best Japanese food on the coast. We paid $56 per person but nobody ever said sushi is cheap.”

CRU Wine Bar & Shop

Address: 900B Middlefield Rd, Redwood City, CA 94063, USA

Cafe Store Restaurant

“My first time here. I came in to enjoy a small bite n a drink. It gave me a small, family owned vibe. Staff was very friendly and helpful with my order. Great music selection too. I'm definitely coming back.”

El Cerrito

Address: 325 Sharon Park Dr B4, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA

Restaurant

“What a hidden gem! Solid American-Mexican food served in a homey setting that slightly feels like a 70s diner. Really friendly service and the portions are generous! I loved the grilled sea bass plate and the taco salad, which was lightly dressed even without me having to ask! There were plenty of folks there but we were seated right away at 12:30pm on a Friday. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available!”

YAYOI Hillsdale

Address: Hillsdale Mall, 389 W Sailer Dr, San Mateo, CA 94403, USA

Restaurant

“We had dinner here the other day. The food is very good. The staff are very friendly and nice, too. My son was having a bad day. He’s very tired, so he was causing a fuss. Then the staff set up the robot to carry a cup of water to my son. He was amazed and got interest in the robot right away. That is just nice.”

Tacos Al Vapor Nueva Italia

Address: 602 B E 4th Ave, San Mateo, CA 94402, USA

Restaurant

“The food was good & service was fast. Don't expect a fancy restaurant, it's more laid back with delicious food. They serve their tacos with homemade tortillas. Will definitely be back to try the beef/goat birria they serve on weekends.”

Starbucks

Address: 1045 El Camino Real, Redwood City, CA 94063, USA

Cafe Restaurant Store

“This is one of the Starbucks that I've gone too, good service, respectful staff, and a basic Starbucks atmosphere. Will say that most Starbucks coffee tastes burnt and filled to the brim with sugar. There are better coffee places out there but Starbucks is usually consistent and tasty. Also may I just add how overpriced some things are... That alone took a whole star off the food section... Well I guess that's expected.”

Vienna Pizzeria

Address: 1590 El Camino Real, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA

Restaurant

“Best pizza I have had since moving to San Bruno 3 years ago. I like thin crust, and theirs was great - not too soft, not too crunchy. Perfect crust. Ordered my own sausage, mushroom, onion with anchovy on half. Delicious!”

Porridge King

Address: 55 Skyline Plaza, Daly City, CA 94015, USA

Restaurant

“Kids love this place and we’ve been coming here years, still good like last time. Well made beef chow fun, good food.”

Breakwater Barbecue

Address: 30 Ave Portola #1B, El Granada, CA 94018, USA

Restaurant

“For the area it is good BBQ with a great atmosphere. Pretty small inside with 5 tables and a small bar. They also have a few tables outside. Slaw (an apple slaw with great flavor) and Mac-N-Cheese (has jalapeños in it) were good. Brisket was good but a little dry. From the amount of a smoke ring it had, I think it was at to high of a temp or just smoke a little to long but I am super picky over my BBQ. Ribs were good and had a great flavor. Bread was nice and thick loke Texas toast but seems like it was left out awhile. The 2 sauces were good. Red was more of a Chipotle and the green was almost like a spicy chimichurri (not that spicy though). I would eat there again.”

America's House

Address: 1440 Cary Ave, San Mateo, CA 94401, USA

Restaurant

“Food is always yummy...the owner is super sweet...always remembers my little family...it is always busy so give yourself some time while there”

In-N-Out Burger

Address: 372 Gellert Blvd, Daly City, CA 94015, USA

Restaurant

“Always happy when a great American burger chain employees, local youth, and holds true to a winning formula. I showed up during a training shift, and the energetic young people working there were really on top of everything! And this was while they were learning how to do it. Pretty sharp. Burgers came out like clockwork, like the In-N-Out burgers. I always remember, and the fries were perfect as usual, I'm not sure how in and out does it, but, they managed to put out stuff with the regularity of McDonald's, but with far better quality. I wish there was one in the East Bay close to where I live! Well done In-N-out staff and managers!”

Dosa Point

Address: 840 Willow Rd, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA

Restaurant

“The place is fine. A small eatery without much of ambience there. The servers aren't quite trained and their English and communication is just passable. The mex veg uttapam was slightly undone. They give a small amount of chutney and when asked for more they give another tiny amount. I felt that Madras cafe wins in this regard. The filter coffee was good but not strong. They add a service tax already but that is not obvious when they show you just the final bill amount. I feel that I paid tip for no reason then.”

Selby's

Address: 3001 El Camino Real, Redwood City, CA 94061, USA

Restaurant

“We came here in January 1st for dinner and we're pleasantly surprised. We loved the concept of picking an appetizer, a main course and a dessert for a fixed price. Definitely get the chocolate cake, it was outstanding! Only odd part was when they brought pickled veggies at the beginning without explaining what it is. It was just dropped off at our table and we were a bit confused.”

Karilagan

Address: 1129 El Camino Real, South San Francisco, CA 94080, USA

Restaurant

“Huge portions! Oxtail kare kare yum. Halo halo yum. Chicken veggie tamarind soup too salty but packed with okra, green beans, onions, and green veggies. Also warms the insides.”

Cantina @ San Benito House

Address: 356 Main St, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019, USA

Restaurant Lodging

“was there yesterday and the food was SO FRICKEN GOOD. The chips and salsa were so flavorful and the shrimp tacos were too. the waiter guy that served me was super friendly and sweet. Look forward to eating here when I'm in town again”

Velo City Pizza

Address: 168 W 25th Ave, San Mateo, CA 94403, USA

Restaurant

“This is a classic example of what happens when an owner takes his craft very seriously. Pizza has been done by countless people for hundreds of years and it tends to trend in the wrong direction. Cheaper, faster, and low quality. That's not how this man does pie. He took the time to find a real New Yorker, who knows the pizza game inside and out, flew him out and sat with him for a few weeks, to learn how to do everything from scratch. Fresh mozzarella, made in house. Absolutely beautiful idea and execution is exceptional and delicious. The whey that's left from making the cheese is turned into house made butter. He makes his own butter! I tried a scoop today and it's stunning. Very creamy, nice mouth feel, and perfectly salted with sea salt. The brick oven gets so hot during the day, that he can roast tomatoes in it overnight. Roasting like this reducers the acidity significantly and gives the tomato sauce that fresh, tangy tomato flavor that we allove so much! If you get a chance to come down here, do it. Do it tomorrow and then again the next day. Bring the baseball team or the soccer team and eat as many pizzas as you can handle. Supporting a locally owned business gets you points when you get to heaven. It also makes me feel good to know I can support this man and his passion. One pie at a time.”

Boudin Bakery Cafe

Address: San Francisco International Airport, Terminal 3, Bayshore Fwy, San Francisco, CA 94128, USA

Bakery Restaurant Store

“Love the food here. This is the only full cafe at the A gates. Has a Pete’s coffee alongside all the Boudin Sourdough fare. This time I had the Tuna salad cold sandwich with multi-grain bread. Loved it! Would love it if everything on display had the prices marked on them.”

The Omelette House

Address: 66 El Camino Real, San Carlos, CA 94070, USA

Restaurant

“The omelettes are, not surprisingly, delicious. My date was in the mood for pancakes, so he got pancakes and they were only ok. But I can't hold that against them. They're not called the pancake house! Omelets are great, highly recommend the one that has cream cheese, avocado and bacon, or maybe I custom ordered that? Great service and energy, has a comfy vibe. Don't go here for a fancy brunch with the girls where you're actually putting on makeup and wearing something cute. Go here when you're tired or hungover or for whatever reason need something casual.”

Supreme Pot

Address: 3 St Francis Square, Daly City, CA 94015, USA

Restaurant

“Wait what. Robot servers at a hot pot restaurant? Yes! It is more like you order through the app and the robot brings out the trays of food. There are still servers that bring out the personal hot pot, refilling hot water, tea. This is nice because usually with big parties, there's always someone throwing everything in the pot. Personal hot pots are better because everyone gets to pick what they want. The trays of food comes out quick with the robot. I was so full walking out of there. Good times.”

Panda Express

Address: 1150 El Camino Real, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA

Restaurant

Mirchi Indian Kitchen

Address: 1100 Foster Square Ln STE 150, Foster City, CA 94404, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant

“First time in Mirchi Indian Kitchen and it's a place YOU must go to! It's the cutest spot with absolutely amazing food, great service, and overall a neat experience! This place is great! The ambience is very welcoming and charming and the staff is really friendly. You can tell making the customers happy is their TOP priority and of course with service of authentic Indian food. I had tandoori chicken, chilli chicken and biryani with a couple of Indian beers and I really enjoyed every single bite of the dish. My first visit has placed this one on top of my list of favorite Indian restaurants. Top notch food, elegant atmosphere, and friendly staff - Highly recommend, I am definitely going back!”

Sushi+Plus

Address: 30 Woodside Plz, Redwood City, CA 94061, USA

Restaurant

“My favorite sushi place, I would give five stars but at around 5pm there's a huge rush and because I was a party of 2 instead of 4-5 I had to wait 25 mins or so to be seated when 3 other larger groups sat before me even though I was waiting before them felt kinda wrong since I go to this place often and usually service is wonderful. I just wished that she communicated better with me. we were one of the last ones there since shortly after the rush it was completely empty by 7! Other then that I love all their 🍣 sushi, always excellent quality and quantity and never leave without be so full and never any take-home boxes ;p”

Ongpin Restaurant

Address: 73 Camaritas Ave, South San Francisco, CA 94080, USA

Restaurant

“Fabulous little resto that serves authentic Phillipino cuisine. Decent sized dining area perfect for eating alone, with a few or for large groups. Regular entrée dishes and desserts or you can experience the Kamayan feast, (delicious food served on banana leaves no utensils), which we had. Tasty Bangus fish, lumpia, veggies, white rice, crispy pork belly, juicy Mango chunks, BBQ chicken and a half a dozen different sauces to accentuate our meal. Very reasonably priced.. Highly recommend this great place to eat!”

Se Come Asi Taqueria

Address: 1302 Old Bayshore Hwy, Burlingame, CA 94010, USA

Restaurant

“Had super tacos and they were fantastic! Real Mexican food aqui 😊”

Los Gallos Taqueria

Address: 3726 Florence St, Redwood City, CA 94063, USA

Restaurant

“Amazing! Was driving through town and needed some breakfast. I was craving tacos and then saw this place with an open sign at 9:15am. They didn’t have tacos but what they had was better, a chorizo and egg plate. ($12.50) This meal was sooo large and incredibly tasty for an unbeatable price. The whole tray of food was for my friend and I. I was obsessed with their salsa which was smooth and oily with some heat and a hint of citrus.”

Tacos El Flamingo

Address: 168 E 4th Ave, San Mateo, CA 94401, USA

Restaurant

“I’ve been here twice. First time I was caught off guard by how great the tacos and quesadilla birria were, as well as how friendly Gerardo was. Second time was to celebrate my mom’s birthday, where the whole family was similarly impressed. Felipe went out of his way to make sure we were accommodated and that her birthday was a special one. They’ve got a new regular customer, here.”

Bellini Bistro

Address: 1465 Beach Park Blvd, Foster City, CA 94404, USA

Restaurant

“The have great food! We went for lunch, I don’t eat meat so I ordered the Bruschetta and the Minestrone soup. It was delicious. My husband got the Spinach Gnocchi with Bolognese sauce. We will be back!!”
