“Very popular place each morning for good reason, the couple there are very nice people. The food is also delicious. I got the number 4, ham, egg, cheese and sausage crissont sandwich, very tasty. The crissont is huge. I don't where they get these from. Makes for very satisfying breakfast. Be prepared because of the popularity you may have to wait. “Highly recommend Monica’s cakes and sugar cookies! I reached out to her with a request for my son’s birthday and she was very responsive and helped me pick cake flavors based on my preferences. The end product was incredible! The design was very adorable and the cake was one of the best cakes I’ve tasted. My guests were so impressed as well! We did a two layer cake with chocolate cake filled with berries on the bottom and vanilla cake with confetti sprinkles and lemon curd filling on top. Cakes were not dry at all and not overly sweet - exactly what I requested! And the sugar cookies were so incredibly cute and on theme and they tasted sooo good - just the right amount of chew and sweetnesses. I’m definitely going to order from Monica again!”

The food was very good +- I had the chilaquiles, My friend had the heuvos rancheros, and they serve up a beautiful warm bolillo, which made me wish I could come back and sample their bakery in a more systematic fashion. the chilaquiles were very good but my bar is very high, unfairly so, I reckon. I think the HR were good too. I very much liked their unsweetened cafe olla, which I think I ruined by putting in half and half in a fit of distraction. Well it wasn't ruined but it would have been better without it. And I love what they did to make the sidewalk seating a friendly grotto like porch -- a pleasant oasis of character in this pretty bleak commercial neighborhood. I'd return again if I were for some reason in the neighborhood again...”
